I'm planning to continue to support dndbeyond. I`m not worried about the merger or them having share info. That is what mergers do.
I would be willing to bet the year limit is a legal thing not a cost of holding the data.
I admit requiring us to select "awesome" as a way to agree to share info was a little annoying but that fits into the misstep category and taking a misstep personally isn't worth the time. I think it could have been a real explanation and ask yes and no outlining cost of not.
I also haven't seen the e-mail and checked my Spam folder. While I'm not super excited about the merger, I still want to support DDB, because I enjoy the service provided and I truly appreciate that they allow content sharing.

The Opt-in email is only sent to users in the EEA (European Economic Area), as they are opted OUT by default. All other users are opted in by default, and can manually request an opt out from our support desk.
Thanks for the clarification, Hartless! That does explain my not getting the email, as I don’t live in the EEA. Meant to mention that in my post above and forgot.
I haven't seen the email either. Is there a way we can accept the transfer through our account settings?
