Hi. I've already searched the forum and couldn't find a solution to my problem. I created a monster with the Hell Hound as a base, but I can't save it. In my creations, I can only see the COPY_OF_Hell Hound no matter how often I click on the save button. And I can't find a required field that I have left out... I'd really appreciate some tips.
Have you saved from the top Save button after changing the name? (There is a save button for the top section of the homebrew editor, and for the bottom section. If you only use the bottom save button, changes in the top section won't save)
Can you take a screenshot of the edit page? Ideally the section after the larger description boxes, where you enter in HP/stats/etc. My instinctual guess is that it may be where the problem lies. We may be able to help better if we can see what you are seeing. :)
If you feel more comfortable sharing via PM and not on the forum, feel free to send me a PM.

When you create a homebrew monster by using another as a template, we automatically set the name to COPY_OF_<original monster name>. Once you land on the edit page, that copy is already created and saved. It will continue to show up in your My Creations list with that name until you change the name. I changed the name of your linked copy above to "Mah Monster". That's what you should now be seeing in your My Creations list.
the name has changed now, but all the specifics I already made are still not there. For some reason I can't save it... what am I missing? Just for the heck of it, I filled out all the non-required fields as well, but I still couldn't save... I still have all the stats from the Hell Hound...

I was able to edit some of the descriptive text with no issues. Are you trying to upload any images during your changes?
nope... I don't know what is wrong. I just decided to create the Monster from scratch and copy-paste everything in from the former one. That one worked fine. I was able to save it with no issues... But thank you for your help!
Hello!, to everyone with the same problem, if you just say leave, it will still leave all your data there, then if you go back down to click save again, this time it will actually save!
I have the same problem it's almost as if I need to save after every change and them verify that is saved. and sometimes it bounces back with me doing nothing. It's a real pain.

I've used the only one I can see atm. Which is just below Avatar and above languages... is there another one? I can't find it...
That should do it. Not sure why its not saving.

I am the Inquisitor Imperitus. I am judge, jury, and executioner. Draw your last breath now, as I send you to the Nine Hells.
