I recently leveled my character up, got the dual wielder feat, have two one handed weapons equipped, but am seeing no difference in ac at all when armor is taken away. This feat grants you a bonus +1 to your AC when wielding two one handed weapons.
It would also be really cool to have some new little box of some kind next to your AC, or maybe somewhere else to keep track of this bonus AC. I plan to semi-frequently stow one or both weapons to spell cast or use my longbow. Just a suggestion, but it's not hard to keep track of myself otherwise.
I'm sorry, I'm super confused. Can you please walk me through the exact button and tab presses to do this on my character sheet? I never use dndbeyond while actually playing, I print off the sheet. So I'm like really noobish to working this.
In your equipment you should have two weapons to use the dual wielding feat. When you're viewing the character sheet - go to the equipment tab and then click on one of the two weapons (the one you want for the bonus attack) and a side panel will open. In that side panel click the "Customise" drop down. There will be a tickbox called "Dual Wield". Tick it and it will tell DNDBeyond to move it to a bonus action attack instead of an action attack.
I don't know if that will trigger the feat to work but I'm guessing it should.

When you hover over the equipment, the cursor doesn't change. It stays as the capital I looking one like when over normal text. There's really no indicator that you can click it and something else will pop up. Maybe this is a bug too.
One of my players chose Dual Wielding and it is supposed to increase their AC by 1 point when using two weapons. As I was double checking the character sheet I noticed the character sheet did not automatically add the +1. The player had correctly equipped both weapons and the feat was properly assigned. I was able to manually add the +1 in the AC override section but wanted to make everyone aware of this issue in case there are other dual wielders out there.
One of the weapons needs to be marked as “dual wield.” On the character sheet, click on the weapon; in the sheet that appears, click customize; them make sure “dual wield” is checked. That tells the sheet that they are dual wielding those weapons, and the AC adjustment will show up.
Bug Report- AC calculation will not automatically include the +1 AC from Dual Wielder feat while dual wielding even if you deactivate all other weapons except your 2 melee weapons. If this is intentional, then you can disregard but if not then the work around is to add the +1 as a misc bonus under the customize menu. Thanks!

Choose "Customize" on your off-hand weapon and mark it as Off-Hand. That should do the trick.

It will. My group has used dual wielder before.
It works. Thanks a lot.

No, that's normal. You can click on pretty much anything on your charactersheet and a sidebar pops up.
