It isn't possible to create homebrew subclasses for the Artificer on D&D Beyond.
There's a very solid reason for this - at some point, the current Unearthed Arcana version of the artificer will almost 100% be updated in some way by Wizards of the Coast, either another Unearthed Arcana article, or published in a book. At that time, a new version of the Artificer class would be published on D&D Beyond and all those homebrew subclasses that people have invested time and effort into would vanish.
Whilst we understand that a number of people would like to homebrew Artificer subclasses on D&D Beyond, we believe that putting them in a situation where all that work is lost is not the correct decision.

Why not just make it blatantly apparent to anyone who'd create a homebrew subclass that it will be removed or marked as something like "Legacy" and unusable once an update comes out? Like I get the concern, but there are better options to go about it without removing functionality in the here and now.

Couldn't there just be a message in the same line as "THIS IS PLAY-TEST MATERIAL" that any related homebrew will be deleted eventually? Because as of right now i'm going to have to use a homebrew wizard subclass (that comes with a whole host of issues) to allow my player to play an Ironclad artificer. I understand being cautious, but not having the ability to homebrew a subclass due to fear of it getting deleted when the main class gets deleted seems odd. Especially if there is fair warning about it.
The page directs to a marketplace page, but it doesn't exist. Trying to manually go to a matching format to the other classes do not work either. Figured it was worth a shot and now I'd point it out in the hopes of getting it fixed.
Unsure whether to put this here or in support, but I figured it pertains to Unleashed Arcana content.
Wand Prototype essentially allows an additional cantrip to the list, but currently there's no way to utilize it through dnd beyond.
Can we get a drop down menu of cantrips to select with this feature? As it stands, I either have to replace one of my known cantrips for the wand's (and manually do the math), or simply remember which one I'm using (and do the math).
I figure it'll be easier to just select the cantrip from the feature and have it appear in the actions tab with the updated math.
Update - our homunculus has now been healed via the mending spell. The artificer is back up and available on the site. Thanks for your patience and for giving us the chance to use our Infuse Server feature during tonight's session!

We have been looking at options for how to model that ability on D&D Beyond and allow you to select the cantrip(s) in the wand and I am hopeful that we'll be able to introduce this soon.
The Artificer being the only half caster that gets spellcasting at level 1 breaks spell level progression for other non-full casters. The Artificer needs to count as a level 1 caster at level 1 to resolve this.
Spell Storing Item does not let you select a spell.
To build the Wand Prototype feature out properly needs a bit of dev work, which the team are getting sorted. We'll have that up and running soon, but the team didn't want to delay release of the whole class for this.
Note: Cannot yet create Archetypes for the Artificer. I went to enter The Ironclad from DM's Guild. :)

Weirdly managing items wonderous items do not show up and the "A" next to Attunment ittems on those screens are not appearing.
Yea I'd second the others wondering on the best way of handling the Wand Prototype.
Spells don't show up correctly under actions.

nevermind realised it was my error

Fair enough. I did not see that notice, thank you.
Won’t let me select artificer as a class. And UA is turned on
