Spells from books I don't own are showing up in the list of known spells on the character sheet and it's really inconvenient.
For example, I only own the Player's Handbook on DNDBeyond. On my druid character, the spell "Flame Arrow" is showing up as a known spell that can be prepared. Flame Arrow says it's from the Elemental Evil Player's Companion, so I technically shouldn't be able to use this spell since my campaign is using strictly PHB. Is this a known bug, is there a way to change this?
Since druids can swap spells out at long rests, it's going to make it a little inconvenient to have to double check every spell before preparing it, compared to only allowing the PHB spells to show up.
Limiting what books a campaign can use is on the roadmap, but not yet implemented. I would suggest opening the spell list on the character sheet, and editing all the spells that are from a source you can't use. 'Prepare' all of them, then from your prepared spells, you open the customization section in the sidebar. Change the name to something like '-----' or 'zzzzz' to force them all out of the spell listing. This change will stick on the character sheet, so once you do it once, you can unprepare the spells and the name change will still be there. You'd just need to do it again once each time you level up a spell level, for that new level of spells. Not ideal, but it should get you what you want.
That's a good idea. I also realized I'm dumb and IT DOES show the source in the character sheet (right underneath the spell duration), I was used to the spell page where it showed the source at the bottom.
So all I have to do is look at that spot. I'm gonna try out your idea though as it seems like that will make it even more convenient! Thanks!

Also--just for clarity's sake: Elemental Evil Player's Companion is one of the free resources here; that's why the spells from it are showing up for you even though all you have purchased is the PHB.
Thank you. I realized that a little while after I initially posted. That makes sense why it's there. It took me a little to figure that out though since it isn't even in the "Source books" page.
