Running Chrome, I keep getting the beholder rolling a 1 page saying it won't load. I try it in Internet Explorer and it loads. I went into my history and deleted cache and history to the end of time and it still does it. What am I missing? I hate IE...lol
Thank you
Edit: It works with Incognito mode but not regular... wtf?
Edit2: Until I logged in? So I can them without logging in as long as their public...
I'm not on a VPN (I figured out that doesn't work at home), I am on an intranet and it always worked fine until recently. I am at work and it's a big company with sites around the world, but again this is new and I never had a problem before. I don't think have any homebrew items.
For extensions I have Google Docs Offline, Docs and uBlock Origin. I started with ublock, and the page still didn't load. Then I turned off the other 2 and it loaded fine! But now I'm perplex, I turned them on one at a time and refreshed and it still works.
Why is DNDbeyond so picky? Why can't I be on my VPN at home. This is for the users protections, and the site not allowing me to keep it on frankly bums me out. I don't like having my VPN off.
Thank you for the assistance, I'd love to see the answers to me new questions still though. :-)
I'm hoping we will eventually see an answer from staff or moderators about the VPN incompatibility. I first started seeing reports of that issue after the major downtime a few weeks ago. I'm guessing that something in the fix for those problems created the issue with VPNs. I would anticipate that if they can track it down sufficiently they will try to address it. That may also be what is tripping up Chrome extensions, although I've seen reports of extensions messing with site experience for far longer. (though not typically the "rolled a 1" error until after the downtime issue)

Are you using a VPN? If so, which one? Try turning it off and see if that helps
Are you using any Chrome extensions? Try turning them off and see if that helps
Do you have any homebrew on the character? It might be broken homebrew
Please post the url to the character so the moderators can take a look.

If you're having trouble accessing D&D Beyond at work, they may have our character sheet service blocked.
If at home you are using NordVPN, please take a look at this article on their site.
