Hmmm, I can get it to show when I uncheck 'proficient' - can you please link the character URL that you are having the issue on so I can pass on to staff. It may be a proficiency check box for particular characters/classes.
Hi Sorce, I'm also seeing this happen with both a Fighter and a Paladin who are supposed to be proficient in all armour. Filtering for non-magical armour brings up a list of all armours with the exception of chain shirt and spiked armour. Unchecking the 'proficient' box adds these to the list.
So it sounds like it's a broken link between the armor and the proficiency.

It is listed in the equipment listings and SRD rules, but not available to equip on the character sheet (or not for me at least).

Ah I hadn’t thought to uncheck proficient, as this character is a fighter.

Onviously no chain shirt equipped presently, but unchecking ‘proficient’ does indeed reveal it.
So it sounds like it's a broken link between the armor and the proficiency.
