Im just curious, can you add home brew items (custom items) to your character? I haven't found anyway to do so yet.
Make sure you have home brew turned on for the character, I just created a +1 longsword as opposed to a longsword +1 and had no problems adding it to my character.
EDIT: Also for public homebrew you need a subscription. Easiest way is to go to equipment and search, I also saw that for armor and weapons you may have to uncheck the proficient box to see them.

I also want to create homebrew non-magical items. An upcoming campaign will use the Variant Encumbrance rules, but the DM has allowed us to consider worn clothing as weighing nothing, and worn armor as weighing half of its un-worn weight (assumedly because of distribution of weight).

Ok thank you so
Thank you! this was very helpful!
But how do you create an item?
Ok so how do I add it to my character?
Can you only create magic items and not regular items like gear?
Yes, only magic items. Homebrew magic items will appear in the Add Items section of the character sheet.
Is there going to be an option to add regular items int he future?

Yeah, I want to add home brew non-magic equipment too.
For example, adding a Tarot deck as an Arcane Focus.
or, a Hammock as a type of bed roll. (Much lighter, only useful in places you can string it up.)
Or a 4-person Pavilion Tent.
‘Nothing too crazy, but we want to add these to flavor our campaign.
Old school knowledge / without all the baggage
Any word on adding home brew non-magic equipment and weapons?
After the game, the king and the pawn go into the same box. – Proverb
Yeah, bump for adding homebrew items and weapons. Nice site by the way!
Bump for adding non-magical, basic-ass, homebrew items and weapons.
I would also very much like to see this feature, I have a few homebrew equipment kits that my characters need...
I also want a feature for creating normal items, and not just magic items.
Non-magical item homebrew please! :D
