I get that. But if we were playing with pen and paper it'd make sense to list it with other cantrips. And to note # of cantrips known + minor illusion. Having all cantrips collected together would be a small, but significant quality of life improvement.
yeah I want to bring this up as well, it isn't noted that you have the minor illusion cantrip anywhere easily accessible if you are playing a forest gnome. I see it's buried if I fan out features > racial traits > natural illusionist, but a new player, as in the one I know playing this character, wouldn't think to look there at all for a spell to cast. Why wouldn't a spell you know be with the spells you know (and noted that is uses a specific spellcasting mod, not necessarily your spellcasting mod). When exporting the sheet it doesn't show up anywhere (I mean the Feature name "Natural Illusionist" does, but that doesn't really help anything)
Also the spell section then gives me the option to add it as a cantrip, which seems confusing because why would someone waste a cantrip space to learn a cantrip they already know. They might not realize they already know that spell.

In writing this post, I just looked back and saw that under the "known spells" is "Traits/Features" > "Natural Illusionist" > Minor Illusion. It didn't stick out right away because the spells are listed in order of level (cantrip > 1 > 2 > etc.) then this is under everything. I scrolled through my catnrips to my 1st level spells and was like "Oh this is missing." I would think it would make more sense to just have it in the spell list and maybe have "(Racial)" or "(Trait)" after the title. Additionally I want to point out that unlike the other spells listed, it does not label the saving throw, it just says "At Will" (shown below).
I recommend waiting for the new version of the character sheet - it has a LOT of improvements and will be, in my estimation, easily the best digital character sheet that D&D has seen.

A forest gnome (natural illusionist) that is a wizard that picks Illusionist (improved minor illusion)
Natural illusionist; you KNOW the minor illusion cantrip
Improved minor illusion; ...If you already KNOW this cantrip, you learn a different wizard cantrip of your choice.
The problem being that DDB gives you minor illusion unless you, for some nonsensical reason, use a "cantrips known" slot to learn something you already know.
All told a level 2 forest gnome illusionist should have:
-Minor illusion from "natural illusionist"
-A cantrip of your choice for "improved minor illusion"
-3 cantrips as usual for a wizard.
So racial traits, cantrips or otherwise, need to recognised by class features, like spellcasting, or questions about DDB's interpretation will continue.

This still hasn't been fixed with the new Character Sheet, FYI. Forrest Gnome Illusionist's still don't get an extra cantrip added into their total learnable or any way to make up for the fact the rules say they can learn another one in place of Minor Illusion.
Given character creator restrictions, can't edit existing/add replacement cantrips.
Hello,
I have merged your thread here. This is a known bug, thank you for your report!
As a temporary fix until we are able to remove the problem, I might recommend making a homebrew feat that grants you a cantrip. It's not ideal, however it can be an effective temporary fix.
A player of mine is a Forrest gnome wizard but is still limited to 3 cantrips instead of 3+minor illusion.
The spells from race features are not part of the class spellcasting ability, even if they share the spellcasting ability.

How do you get a one-armed goblin out of a tree?
Wave!
Not even a link to the spell down there, though I'd much prefer it displayed in the regular spell list.

I have encountered this problem too. Specifically

Natural illusionist; you KNOW the minor illusion cantrip
Improved minor illusion; ...If you already KNOW this cantrip, you learn a different wizard cantrip of your choice.

Ya unfortunately I think it's a dndbeyond thing, they don't seem to think it's important. That can be frustrating.
Jesus Saves!... Everyone else takes damage.
I'm still seeing this as an issue.
Come on this shouldnt be too difficult to fix
Still broken, It be nice if getting the PHB content fixed was a priority.
bump - will this get foxed ? is a little annoying still here after all this time
Also experiencing this issue. DM is overruling the web page, but It would be nice to have it on the page itself.
