Dueling says "when you are wielding a melee weapon in one hand." That greatsword is two-handed. Try equipping the dagger instead and see if that works. It might also be that the character sheet isn't smart enough to be able to tell if you're fulfilling the 'in one hand' aspect no matter what, but it definitely won't work with a greatsword.
With +2 proficiency + 3 STR + 2 dueling (Fighting style), his total attack bonus should be +7, but it's +5.
Dueling adds the bonus to damage rolls, not attack rolls. In addition, as pocketmouse pointed out, it only works for one-handed weapon’s and the Greatsword has the two-handed property and is therefore ineligible to receive that bonus.
I am having the same issue but I am using a rapier. I tried un-equipping /re-equipping my shield to see if that would fix it, it does not. It used to display the damage correctly, I am not sure what I did. (+3 dex mod, +2 prof. , +2 from fighting style).
I think folks are using rules language which may be confusing the OP and the additional complaint. Attack roles are proficiency + ability score modifier. Damage is strictly ability score modifier, no proficiency, but something like dueling can be added if you're using a dueling weapon (single handed, nothing in off-hand, though the sheet doesn't enforce that, so don't cheat).
Writing as a duelist who's sheet works as you all are saying, and that means its working out fine.

Yes, your attack and damage modifiers look correct on your sheet for the dagger & rapier with the Dueling fighting style.
Admittedly it can be confusing when the fighting style gives a +2 damage bonus and your proficiency is also +2, since that makes both your Attack and Damage modifiers the same.

I had the same issue with a longsword. The feat doesn't say it's limited to finesse or light weapons only nor does it limit weapons with the versatile property. It's just broken. I go into my longsword and just add the +2 in the custom window. Then it applies the +2 bonus to one-handed use, but not two-handed and it's fair and correct.

This thread is about the Dueling Fighting Style. If you're talking about a Feat, which one?

I hope this information has been helpful.

I added the link to my original post, sorry about that. I think MidnightPlat is correct, it should not add proficiency to damage, my bad.

I can't get the +2 to apply to the damage eithor. Currently with Scimitar equipt. I dont see a solution in this forum.

It is being applied, that’s why it’s +5 instead of +3.

I see, I was exspecting the proficiency to apply as well, but I see that only applies to the attack not the damage. Thank you.
