Like the title says - if I copy any character that has a Custom Background - the copied version forgets all the selected proficiencies (skills tools and languages) and highlights them blue in the builder to be reselected. I tried copying a character with a normal background (Outlander) and the selections from that copied over just fine - so it must be something to do with Custom Backgrounds.
Sure - I just copied a few of my characters and the Description section remembered the proficiencies and the character sheet shows them as known - so everything seems fixed now. Thank you for that.
Hmm, I have a similar issue with a character who was created as a copy: His background skills show up for normal backgrounds but not for custom backgrounds.
Similar to the previous post it is suddenly working now after an hour or so. I attempted multiple reloads & browser closures beforehand, but time seems to be the fix?

It may have been a server caching error, then. For those, the best fix is to log out, log back in and wait 20 minutes or so.

I seem to be having this issue, where custom backgrounds are not propagating any proficiencies
Does it apply to copies of a character (as the OP) or characters in general? Please post a link to an affected character.
