I'm attempting to share a homebrew bard subclass with the community, the College of Dance (so original, I know. I think it has some good ideas). However, when I attempt to share it, the homebrew system informs me that it is, in fact, too similar to the druid's Circle of Spores subclass to be shared, and that it doesn't have abilities at the correct levels for a bard subclass.
Needless to say, as a bard subclass, this bears no resemblance to the Circle of Spores, and it has features at 3rd, 6th, and 14th level, as bardic subclasses ought. Why am I getting this error message? Is there a way to tell what the system is picking up on, and how to fix it?
Either your description is too short, or you haven’t saved for the topmost save button in the homebrew editor (the one closest to a asic information). Only when this button is clicked does the system recheck your homebrew to see if it fits the rules for published material. The Spores warning usually means that at some point, there wasn’t an adequate enough description, and it shows up regardless of the class the subclass is for.
