Hi there! I was messing around with my pre-existing character who is in a campaign, and the DM had added some homebrew subraces from the homebrew selection on DDB - I accidently clicked change race, and cannot change it back. He was originally an Eladrin Elf
I cannot find any way to change the race - where you can usually click to change race simply does not work. I've reloaded my computer, and done everything I can think of, including asking the DM to try and change it [they couldn't change it either] Any help would be appreciated!
Whoever created the Homebrew race did not give it a short description - this would usually appear on the Race page in the builder and push all the traits further down. Because there isnt the standard spacing, the traits push up and impact the change race link.
Since this is a published homebrew that you wont be able to edit, I've added a Short description - this may take 15mins or so to update back to the character sheet itself, but once updated you should have the change race link work.
EDIT: Looks like it is updated, you should be able to change the Race on that character now.

D&D Beyond StaffTry removing the special characters from that character's name (even if its temporary) to see if that allows you to make those changes.
