I'm playing as a Paladin, so I get a wizard cantrip. I want to take Fire bolt, but the option doesn't show up in the character creation pages. After leveling up there is now a cantrips spot when I view my character, but it auto selected 'mold earth' for some reason and I still don't have anywhere that I can see to change it on the creation/update pages.
If anyone knows where/how to fix this and select the correct cantrip for my character that would be greatly appreciated.
As far as I know Paladin's don't get cantrips. Did you take the Magic Initiate feat? In that case you can switch your spells under the "Ability Score Improvement"-section (Under Class Features). Depending on your level, you might have more than one of these.
EDIT: Or are you playing as a race that get's a cantrip? Like the High Elf? In this case you can change your cantrip under your Race-Tab.
I am playing as a satyr paladin (oath of the ancients) but I need darkvision for my character because I am doing the tomb of annihilation. how could I get that

This is totally unrelated and why are you asking random internet strangers? The answer is the spell darkvision, magic items, or dying and creating a character with darkvision. In ToA, the final option is easiest.

It was indeed the High Elf. Thank you so much for helping me with this. ;) Now I can properly burn away the evil and unrighteous that plague our land.
