This is is my first time that I've posted something on the forums. I have a few ideas that it could be interesting to look into.
1) A dungeon maker. I have the Dungeon master's handbook and a master tier subscription, so I can share content with my players. When I'm rolling up a dungeon using the tables I hand draw it or use other platforms to help me make the dungeons. It would be really cool if there was some kind of integrated tool that could help me build dungeons faster. It could have all of the pre-selected pathway widths, door types, room/chamber types and sizes. One thing that could enhance this is by having a DM view and a player view. The DM view would show all of the details for the DM, and the player view would only show what the player(s) have discovered and as they move forward, only the outlines of the paths and chambers would be visible as the players would be further away.
2) The ability to share character sheets fully. In real life, if I made a character for someone, I could simply hand it to them and let them take control. If I'm doing this for a player or I'm a player helping my DM make NPC's for my character, it would be nice to be able to transfer ownership of a character to someone. I don't know if this feature already exists or not and I haven't found out how to do this yet, but it would make playing during a pandemic or across long distances easier.
3) A way to share content between DM's Guild and here. There are some things that I really want to get on one but it wouldn't be easily shared due to the lack of linking between the two.
I understand if none of this happens or if this is even looked at, but I thought I would give my 2c.
Sorry to jump in on your thread Gforceprime, but as I've a question on a similar topic it seemed sensible to ask in here rather than start a new thread.
ArwensDaughter - I've created a character for a friend who's new to D&D, joined a campaign with them (I'm not the DM), then unassigned that character, and joined with my own character. Looking in the campaign (via 'My Campaigns'), this other character I've created is clearly listed under
"Unassigned Characters
These characters are available to be claimed by players in the campaign."
with "CLAIM" right there in blue writing. However, to check this would work for them, I tried looking at the "Invite players" link again, and this character isn't there for my friend to claim.
Under "Join a Campaign," there are "My Character" (this character I've created and unassigned isn't listed there), but no 'unassigned' characters for people to click - I've carefull scrolled up & down, looked around, there's definitely no sign of either this character, or a 'join with unassigned character' button or the like.
I have also checked that the character is Public - they definitely are.
Veeel, would you be willing (with your DM’s permission) to PM me the invite link so I can give it a try myself? I promise I won’t claim the character (at least not permanently), just take a look.
Appreciate you being willing to help :-) I'll ask the DM and get back to you
When I click on the link, the Unassigned character (Xenastasia) appears right below the “Create a character” button and above the list of my characters. If you aren’t seeing it, maybe that’s because. You created the character and then unassigned it? I’d suggest having the person it is intended for trying the invite link and see if they can access the unassigned character.

#2 is already possible: create the character; add it to the campaign; unassign the character; player joins campaign and claims unassigned character.
