Since Arcane Trickster and Eldritch Knight use the wizard spell, there should be the optional ability to add on when you take these subclasses to add the additional wizard spell list from Tasha's.
This would apply to any other subclasses that use a full class spell list.
Also the arcane trickster automatically learns mage hand, but this is not implemented on the subclass. Is there a way to update this to where it automatically adds the spell to the character and utilizes 1 of the 3 cantrips known. This will help those learning the game and accidentally do not take a main feature of the subclass.
The Additional Wizard Spells Optional Class Feature in Tasha’s is not available for either the Arcane Trickster or Eldritch Knight under RAW. (Fighters and Rogues are not Wizards.) The new Wiz spells in Tasha’s (HERE) are available for both of those subclasses however (as are the ones in Fizban’s & Strixhaven).
As for the issue with mage hand, they can’t fix it currently because they are HYPER-LAWFUL!!!1!!1! The spell progression chart for ATs includes the additional Cantrip Known (3 as opposed to the EK’s 2), so DDB in their HYPER-LAWFULNESS!!!1!!1! actually added the additional Cantrip Known slot and those can’t be predesignated like that. If they had left the chart the same but only given the same 2 cantrips that EKs get, then they could have added mage hand (and integrated the additional rules from Mage Hand Legerdemain to it), and to us it would have functioned properly and looked correct. But it wouldn’t have technically been the exact same as WotC wrote things and DDB is HYPER-LAWFUL!!!1!!1!/Neutral. 🤷♂️
