During the beta test of D&D Beyond, we'll only be including content that is freely available from Wizards of the Coast, including the D&D 5th edition SRD , D&D 5th edition Basic Rules & Elemental Evil Companion. The beta will not include additional content from a Commercially Released Book or Supplement, nor playtest material from Unearthed Arcana.
All of the remaining published content from the PHB, DMG, MM and other D&D 5th edition books will be added to D&D Beyond for product release - the cost for accessing this material has not yet been announced.
Hello, i have looked at the spell list for druids here at D&D Beyond, and noticed that there were some spells on the list that weren't in the Players Handbook. I know the book is about 3 years old, but i'm still kinda confused about those spells here at D&D Beyond. The spells that i'm confused with include "Control Flames", "Frostbite," "Absorb Elements", etc. To be honest, i'm very confused.

Those spells you are talking about come from the Elemental Evil supplement. Since such supplement is free, the developers have kindly implemented it for the beta test.
I would like to be able to filter by duration, for example to be able to see all spells that have a duration but do not require concentration. I would be happy with something as simple as adding two spell tags ("instantaneous" and "duration").
It seems that the Thaumaturgy cantrip is missing from the spell directory. Great job overall on everything so far. This is so much more intuitive than scanning through the handbooks.

“After darkness comes the Bringer of Light, and He shall reward those that followed His path into the void of Night. For they are true unto themselves and the nature of man, which is beast."

Ah thank you, I just realized my mistake as well. I didn't realize I was searching only in the Wizard spell category and not under Cleric or all spells. Thanks!

We may be running the risk of over-categorizing spells for the sake of filtering, but I think it would be helpful to be able to filter/sort spells by range and area of effect. Thanks.
One of the possible effects of the spell wish mentions the spell greater restoration, but it is not linked to its description. In addition, the description of the spell antimagic field mentions numerous other spells, including, but not limited to, fireball, wall of fire, and dispel magic. However, none of these spells are linked to their descriptions.
Since this spell has a casting time of "reaction" wouldn't it make sense to begin the description as such:
"As a reaction, you point your finger, and..."
Currently it only mentions the reaction as a footnote. Seems to me that beginning with "As a reaction," would make it much more clear that this spell is a reaction.
It would be nice to have suggestions appear as I'm typing in the search window to help with spelling. Thaumaturgy and Prestidigitation come to mind as being hard to remember how to spell correctly. It would also be much faster as I wouldn't have to type out the whole word but rather just enough to find it in the suggested list. I hope that makes sense.

SgtRock008,
You don't have to type out the entire spell name:
And we will be adding a much more user-friendly, "search everything", feature towards the end of the beta period.
I would love the ability to pin spells to a quick reference dashboard. Perhaps a DM notes/DM Screen section where I could save off some spells I know I'm going to have to reference during a game.

Wondering why "Ensnaring Strike" (L1 conjuration from PHB) is not in the listings?

The Spell 'Investiture of Wind' is missing the bludgeoning icon on its damage

Hellish Rebuke (1st level)

I am the Inquisitor Imperitus. I am judge, jury, and executioner. Draw your last breath now, as I send you to the Nine Hells.
Well yes if you hit the search button. I was referring to the predictive method used in search engines like google.
