Looking at the monsters, I was struck by the seemingly random use of colour in the stat blocks. Dex, Con, and Wis scores are various shades of grey, and the other stats are warm/bright colours. Was there a thought process here, or precedent that I'm not aware of? The colours for magic items based on rarity are pretty standard computer RPG stuff, but the stat scores are more confusing than helpful. Even more strangely, colour is applied just the score (which is practically never actually used) rather than the modifier (which is left black).
Yes, I have been wondering about this as well. It threw my brain into a loop for a minute or so until I was able to figure out that it was not the number of the stat that determined color but the the stat it's self that did. I am assuming that it has something to do with one of the other phases but honestly it threw me off for a minute there.
