I just built a barbarian character for a one-shot, and this has probably been said before, but it would be swell to have a rage toggle that automatically displays resistances and extra damage. I also hope a wild shape section for druids is a priority? I'm playing a druid for the first time soon and it seems like a lot of bookkeeping.
just a thought, maybe there could be an export option with XML or JSON or whatever vs a PDF. then there could be a small ecosystem that takes the beyond data and can output PDF, Excel or whatever based on that data... I can't imagine there isn't already an intermediary format like one of those.
Is the character in question *inside* of one of those campaigns? You only have access to shared character builder content while inside of the campaign.
Can the Toll The Dead cantrip be formatted similarly to versatile weapons in the attack section? Meaning the base d8 damage larger above, and the d12 damage listed smaller in grey below it. It would be helpful. Thanks.
Playing OotA currently and would like to be able to track insanity in the character sheets. Any plans to add insanity (and potentially honor) tracking?

Currently, I think the best solution is to add a custom skill.
When you add expertise to Thieve's Tools, it doesn't seem to show in the Character Sheet unless I'm missing it somewhere.
Whenever one of my characters has proficiency with Thieves' Tools, I add it as a custom skill so I don't forget. Then with Expertise, it's just a quick selection from a drop down.
spell damage for chaos bolt is wrong. says 2d8, but its 2d8+1d6 and goes up by a d6/level over one.
The spell states this correctly. When you're looking at spells on the character sheet, you're right that it only shows "2d8" plus an acid damage type icon. I'm guessing that there just isn't room for the full damage there, as when you click on the spell, it correctly states the full damage.
This could definitely be displayed better somehow.

It doesn’t even show the full damage, so you have to go to the spell to get the full detail. It would be incomplete on the main page at best, it could be displayed more clearly.
I'm not sure if this is "coming" with the class-specific revamp section. But I'd love a toggle that adjusts specific stats based on the activation / deactivation of class features and specific spells that affect a character stat.
For example, a Barbarian would have a "Rage" toggle, that would automatically add your Rage bonus damage to Melee weapon damage rolls, would include "Advantage on Strength checks and Saving throws" and show Resistance to bludgeoning, piercing and slashing.
Or a Blood Hunter Order of the Lycan would have a "Hybrid Transformation" toggle that automatically adds everything pre-calculated to the character sheet.
Or within the Mage Armor spell a toggle that adjusts the calculation for Armor Class.
I know originally the reason these weren't added was because there is a duration and the character sheet doesn't "know" when one would / would not end. But if you set it as a toggle and "trust" the player to toggle it on and off I think this is a happy medium.
Right now many users are getting around this anyways by custom creating Magic Items / Feats, so users obviously feel it isn't a hassle to include toggles for very important duration-based affects.
Not sure if it has been said or if I am missing something, but it appears for druids that wildshapes cannot be applied. It would be helpful to have some way to implement a wildshape on a character from within the character sheet page. Overall, I love the character creation!

Human Variant feats from Player's Handbook are not showing up correctly on the Character Builder
Can you post the link address of the Race page of the builder, please?
Have you purchased the Player's Handbook?

Hi there Drew_the_Barbarian,
I just had a look and, on selecting variant human for that character, it only has access to two feats: grappler and svirfneblin magic.
This is because all other feats are contained within rulebooks such as the Player's Handbook, Xanathar's Guide to Everything etc.
To access any feats that you want, you'll need to do one of the following:
