I think there should be a way to group homebrew creatures, items, and subclasses together. For example, I'm making a custom dnd setting (which I also think should have its own system on here) and have some creatures and items I'd like to make, but I want to be able to find them readily. If I could group them into a section under my homebrew creations that would make things so much easier. Even if there was a Campaign Setting homebrew section that you could then drag other homebrew creations into that'd be awesome

I've started putting tags in the names of the things I homebrew. For instance, if it's a monster, I'll tag it with (examples I've used):
For backgrounds I make the name: background name (source or tag)
Examples:
Ashari (Tal'Dorei Campaign Setting)
Butler (Dragon Stew)
Retired Adventurer (Xanthar's Lost Notes to Everything Else)
For feats I make the name: Abbreviation • feat name
Examples:
DS • Veggiemancer
EF • Bloodthirsty
TDCS • Dual-focused
For magic items I make the name: Abbreviation • item name
Examples:
DS • Dwarven Ice Cream Scoop
ECC • Seal of Candlekeep
XLNEE • Belt of the Monkey
For monsters I make the name: monster name (source or tag)
Examples:
Adult Forest Dragon (Sprouting Chaos)
Cinnahamster (Dragon Stew)
Snapdragon (Homebrew)
For species I make the name: species name (source or tag)
Examples:
Awakened Blight (Sprouting Chaos)
Fairy (Evolving Cantrips)
Harvestborn (Dragon Stew)
Harvestborn Barkling (Dragon Stew)
This is a sub species. I keep the main species name first so it lists all the sub species next to each other since you can't make custom species groups.
For spells I make the name: source or tag • spell name
Examples:
Blackstaff's • Cleansing Touch
Elminster's • Foretold Smite
Evolving Catrips • Mage Hand
For subclasses I've made two different styles.
If it came from a source: Abbreviation • subclass name
Examples:
DS • Circle of the Brew
ECC • College of Destiny
XLNEE • Path of the Sacred Kin
If it was just a modification: subclass name (tag)
Yep. On my end, it's done as follows. I'll use an example of each I've made. Note that the notation for Magic Items is to easily set them apart for others, as I'm helping with content for a couple of Westmarch servers and want things clearly notated. (And many of my items are just me converting Magic cards into D&D stuff.)
Magic Items: HB - Relic Amulet
Monsters: CHIMERA - Porcuparrot
Subclasses: Chronurgy Magic (EGtW)
Note that the subclasses are notated differently to help keep the design in line with what you see in the menu during character creation already.

Really, each campaign ought to have its own homebrew collection.
A workaround is to add an identifying prefix or suffix to the name of each one. (Prefis means they sort together, but it's more annoying.)

-Arena
-Chimera
-General
-Villain
How do you add those?
