Regarding the preprinted adventure on DNDB how can you tell what level characters the adventure is for? I don't want to invest in something my players will not get to for months or never?

I am not sure what you mean by 'preprinted' because D&D Beyond is only digital. Anyway, in the introduction of every module, it is indicated the starting level and the expected level for the end of the module.
If you're referring to the Adventure books, it's actually easier to find the information you're looking for at the wizards pages for the respective campaigns.

What I meant was, when I go to the marketplace and I look at say, The Curse of Strahd there is no indicator for character level so I don't know which product would be good for my players.

I've moved this thread to the Feedback subforum, as I believe it's valuable feedback and you're right - it would be very useful for the level information to be displayed on adventure modules in the D&D Beyond marketplace.
I, too, wish this information was more prominently displayed in the marketplace.
Even more, though, I wish it was prominently displayed on the Adventures "Index" page of the Compendium. We have this nice page with the cover art and short blurb of each adventure. It would be perfect to list the levels there so you can see them all. It would be even better if you could filter/sort on that information.

That's a really good call - knowing at a glance what levels the adventures you own are for is really handy. :)
