Finally got onto the compendium page again. I actually like what you chose to put at the bottom. It works well around those two boxes that center at the bottom on the desktop sized screen. Maybe a tad odd as soon as you shrink it so you have three columns of boxes instead of the max of four, but it only shows odd in that one setup. As soon as you shrink to two columns there is not a lot of extra white and the boxes fill things in nicely to the picture isn't need to help with excess white on the eye. ;)
Overall, it is looking good to me now as compared to first coloring scheme of the boxes with white on pictures.
