I know translation is something complicated and takes a lot of time. But what about creating a translation made by users? I'm sure there is a lot of brazilian and portuguese people here. I'm from Brazil, I love RPG, my friends too and I wish I could use D&D Beyond with them, but I can't because of the language barrier.
I've seen entire games that were translated by community. It's really that hard to do it here? I would help and I can easily find another 20 people that would help too.
Half a year later and no mod or dev comment about this. Glancing at the new roadmap let me guess they don't intend to do translation anytime soon.
The earlier you start with translation, the more time goes into maintaining it. Also it's probably hard to ship the books in different languages? I would buy the book's here if they are available in german. Further I imagine with the international attention they get thanks to critical role, it would be worth it to get a person on that subject. Being able to understand the language where dndbeyond focuses their marketing on, doesn't mean it's an option for the potential customer to play the game in that language.
You are best of writing a Chrome plugin that translates the site for you, as you wish, and share it with your friends. Plugin may break as they introduce changes to the site. So probably just open up a git page and start competition with the people you've got. No better time than now.

Translation isn't handled by DDB, it's handled by WotC. Beyond will make available whatever WotC's deal permits them to do so. Currently DDB is only available in english because other distributors have exclusive rights in other regions. This isn't something Beyond has control over.

You are absolutely right. Translating D&D Beyond into other languages is going to take a lot of effort but we see how much it will help a lot of customers, so we're there with you.
I don't have any promises that I can give at this moment but I can say that our first step is always to understand and then act quickly by taking small steps. That's what we plan to do here.
I know, I am new here, but only because I am Brazilian and English is not soo good. I would love to know if we will have a translated version of DDB in Portuguese. I have some friends who don't speak English well and they are ashamed to share it, so they don't play. DDB is a good help for beginning players and can be a wonderful tool to spread RPG in Brazil.
Well... 2023 and still nothing? We already have an official translator (Galapagos) and it would be really great if we could translate beyond too. One of my players uses google translate but it works so badly and causes too much confusion.
Someone said something about making a petition for WotC. Did it happen?

I've created a new master feedback thread for translating D&D Beyond. Please pour your heart out there and take the survey too!
Thanks for your thoughts and feedback.

You will need to petition Wizards of the Coast for an official translation, D&D Beyond can't do it without permission.
Lightning Strike - A rebranded Fire Bolt for Wizards & Sorcerers.
Spirit Bomb - A holy fireball for Clerics, Paladins, & Divine Soul Sorcerers!
Sword Dancer - A Cleric subclass specifically for the Drow goddess Eilistraee.
Quicksilver & The Scarlet Witch - A pair of magical firearms for your Gunslinger or Artificer.
Lets do this !!! Please!!!
