The choice to transfer your data or the choice not to? I ask because Badeye indicated on another thread that there had been a problem with the pop-up that has been fixed. It was supposed to stop popping up if you clicked the button (at least on that browser), but it wasn’t doing do. I don’t remember if there was supposed to be a way to not agree/opt out of the transfer and stop the pop-up.
But for those of us that have made our choice there's no way to permanently dismiss the pop-up.
This is so bizarre; if you plan on continuing to use the site, then you can dismiss the pop-up by confirming you've read the message by clicking the button. Easy
If your choice is to allow your account to be deleted, then you can dismiss the pop-up; by deleting your account now. If you've resigned yourself to not acknowledging and allowing the data transfer, then you've resigned yourself to your data being deleted. If the pop-up bothers you that much, and you don't want to keep using the service, why not just stop using it now?
Because the transfer hasn't happend yet and we're still using it in the interim while we look at other providers. Dear lord man, you're grasping at straws here.
No, honestly you and the people that don't want to agree with the terms that are provided before you can leave the site. By not agreeing to what they are warning you that have full right to terminate your account and you will lose all the money you have spent on the website. You should just leave the site now because the merger has happened and it is only a matter of time before your account is suddenly gone
This is getting a little heated, so please take this as a friendly reminder to all - when you have a difference of opinion with other users of these forums, you are absolutely allowed to disagree with them and present alternative views and opinions.
You may not insult other users, or tell them they should leave the D&D Beyond site.
That is not appropriate or reasonable behaviour towards anyone.
Staff have stated what the pop-over message was for and why.
If there are any further questions, please feel free to ask. I don't have any further information myself, but if there are any reasonable questions, staff may respond.

Why on earth should the developers add a feature that only benefits users planning on leaving the site anyway?
