I think It would save DMs a lot of prep time if there were a button to build a new encounter or add all the creatures to Combat Tracker with the creatures mentioned in a dungeon room or paragraph.

I really feel this would add some awesome synergy between tools, and it will really save prep time.
PS: I can write it down in Gherkins syntax if it helps. :p
Very much this. I'm running Tyranny of Dragons and it's quite the job to create some of the encounters. If the encounter builder could also pull in the HP of the characters, or even better show this:
It would make encounter building and running so much easier.
Is there a way to 'preview' all the hover-over text and dice rolling buttons that we put into our homebrew content like monsters within the homebrew page? It would be nice to be able to see if the links/dice rolling buttons are correct while creating the content.
I know that I can check for monsters in the encounter builder - but that's also a lot of back and forth to check if you did something correctly instead of seeing it as you're typing things out/saving within the homebrew section.

Type something out. Save. Go to the details page. Check.
I had a suggestion, not very urgent but it pertains to my fellow necromancer's and anyone really! I love the ability to add my skeleton undead servants as pets to my extras section. BUT I think that adding an option to add equipment to pets/mounts would make this an even more valuable feature! This way when we gear up our minions we can have it all set on their stat blocks. Just for fun ill put what my minions are geared up with!
Skeleton Minion gear: Breast Plate +1 Rapier Moon Touched rapier Longbow Shield Hand crossbow Clockwork amulet Circlet of blasting Quiver of Elhonna
It would also help players who like to get mounts and armor them up to make them safer and such.

Thanks - that does indeed show the links when hovering over the spell tags but correct me if I'm wrong, it does not show the dice roll buttons (since there's no dice rolling functionality on those pages) and using the syntax for the dice notation is pretty hard to read on their own. Just thought it would be a good quality of life improvement if a preview was incorporated into the homebrew process especially when you're starting to use the dice notation that is beyond what is supported by the 'dice roller' in the text editing toolbar
I would like to suggest some features, if I could?
Option to choose specific genie patron (right now choosing one opens up the spell lists for all four).
With weapons like Moonblade, a section with which to organise the stats of the customisable weapon better (maybe also with the option to roll on the sheet itself for features, since they're listed there). If I roll and the weapon has the ability to store spell slots, I would like to be able to list those spells or have a way those spells can be stored? If it reacts to the presence of certain enemies, a way to select what enemies it reacts to? Basically a weapon customising features section that can be edited rather than taking up a lengthy section of text next to the weapon that doesn't show up in the rest of the options (aka for working as a spell storing weapon, the spells listed as actually useable on the character sheet)?
Epic Boons (they're available for even lower level characters through the Abberant Dragonmark feature, and this feature would do well to come with a popup explanation for the 1st level spell that if their hit dice is even or odd, then either they regain hit points or possibly lose some?). It would be nice to just add an epic boon to a character, and it is part of the three main sourcebooks that are bundled in every game store as "dnd essentials".
Also backing someone else's request for being able to equip familiars, pets, sidekicks and mounts. It would make it clearer in the sheet where the gear is being stored and who has access to it. It would also make it easier to add stats through magical gear and spells, perhaps?
The feature i want the most right now is to be able to mark hit dice as spent whithout having to confirm a short rest.
I have a Dwarf Warlock with the Dwarven Fortitude feat, but I cannot spend a hit dice on my sheet without confirming a short rest. Which would reset my spell slots. Can it be altered so that I can mark hit dice spent without having to confirm a short rest?
Hello, new user, not sure if this is the right place. If not I am sorry.
I would like logic option for the monster section of the database. Especially for the resistance and immunity to certain types of damage. It would be helpful to find out if a creature is immune to fire AND thunder damage. (Caps mine) If it could be combined with resistances that would be even better. Right now it simply lists monsters that have one or both immunity. Thanks.
Enable Proficiency Swaps on the character builder per TCoE.
ie: I want to swap proficiency between Simple Melee Weapons (Dart to Javelin). The character builder will let me add the Javelin proficiency, but I can't remove the Dart proficiency.
My apologies if this has already been requested or I missed something.
(point of detail - I'm actually asking for an expansion of swaps, not an implementation of TCoE. I'm trying to make changes based on subclass, not Race.)
On the character sheets there are already filters for spell level and concentration. I'd love to be able to filter OFF concentration spells in my spell list, so that when I'm already concentrating on a spell I am less likely to accidentally cast another concentration spell.
I often use D&D Beyond to quickly create NPC antagonists for my game. Something that would be helpful is if there were a tool too automatically calculate the challenge rating of a character. The formula in the DMG is a pain to work through by hand, but if it could be automated that would be a huge help.
I'm sure it has been suggested, however, I would like to highlight that as a subscriber I have unlimited character slots but I cannot organize them by folders or categories. So you practically discouraging users to take advantage of one of the features you're selling.
So a suggestion: character folders/categories for subs at least.
can we please get the oversized longbow from waterdeep dragon heist? It's the 3rd player that asks for it aaand until now i am forced to use a renamed automatic pistol which is... sub-par.
The adventure has been out since 2018. 😅
Unless somehow i missed this specific treasure... yeah. Let me know.

Technically, that's not a weapon. It's part of a monster's statblock.
What you want is to allow to create new weapons with different damage dice.
Make Encounter button on Adventure Resources.
I think It would save DMs a lot of prep time if there were a button to build a new encounter or add all the creatures to Combat Tracker with the creatures mentioned in a dungeon room or paragraph.
For example, in Chapter 4: Building Eberron Adventures - Forgotten Relics, at the bottom of the paragraph Daask Hit Squad, you could add a button to create an encounter with the title Daask Hit Squad. The encounter would then have in it the following monsters:
1x shifter
3x kobolds
1x kobold acolyte.
I really feel this would add some awesome synergy between tools, and it will really save prep time.

I would like to see a filter for “content you own” on any kind of search such as monster browsing etc…
On the character sheets there are already filters for spell level and concentration. I'd love to be able to filter OFF concentration spells in my spell list, so that when I'm already concentrating on a spell I am less likely to accidentally cast another concentration spell.
And additional filter for "content shared"
