Could you please come up with a way for elemental adept damage to be added onto the damage of spells where dice rolls of 1 can be treated as a 2? Currently this doesn't seem to be a feature, but even a separate popup right after a relevant spell to be like: Elemental Adept Damage: _
It would really prevent having to do maths when one of the great features of having dndbeyond is how so many of the dice rolls are automated.
Currently, I roll a the damage for a cold spell when I have Elemental Adept (Cold) and then I have to either forgo the extra damage that I could do, or I have to manually calculate it. When I calculate it manually, it disrupts the flow of the game.
Haven't read through all 100 pages of interactions, so sorry if this is a repeat request. I'd like a dark mode for just the site in general. Too much light colors, and we're all creatures of the underdark or drow :D
Most popular request by far.... and for good reason. It boggles my mind that it's still not implemented. I for one would love to see it as well.
I would love to see them implement this natively as well - I'm sure it's on their list. In the mean time you can check my signature for a customizable dark theme for nearly all of the site.

I do NOT need this, but man... that's some nice-looking work!
Has there been any word as to whether there are plans to add a Blood Hunter tab in the Class Forum section of the website?
No, because it isn't an official class. it's only here as part of a sponsorship deal with Critical Role

Trying to get your physical content on Beyond is like going to Microsoft and saying "I have a physical Playstation disk, give me a digital Xbox version!"

I know that its not an official class, but why would D&D Beyond not have a forum for a class they are sponsoring? They are providing the class for free to their users, so why not provide those users with a place to discuss its mechanics in depth like the official classes?

Perhaps Wizards of the Coast just doesn't want it to happen? There appears to be a lot of hand-tying in their agreements with DDB.

True, but it seems weird that the class is fully available for users to make characters with using site tools but that having a dedicated forum to discuss mechanics and tips would be crossing a line

I would really like to see all aspects of character generation made togglable. I would like to pick and choose the races, classes, backgrounds, languages, and other features which are available in my campaigns.
I would like to get an actual character sheet that works for sidekicks. The add-on in another characters "extras" is OK, but pretty deeply flawed. My players have a sidekick who is a guard. It was built by the rules from Tasha's, with the guard statblock as its base. If you add a warrior sidekick of the appropriate level (11 in our case), it is substantially different from the actual build. The sidekick available there has much better stats than can be achieved by the rules, and I just noticed that's what the players have been using.
It would also be nice to be able to create a sidekick character sheet for people who are looking for really basic classes. I've played with kids, and it is definitely easier to start them with a sidekick as their character rather than a regular character.

Similarly, I allow my players to have animal sidekicks, using rules from Tasha and some homebrew options. So haveing customizable sidekick options would be great.
This is urgent, especially with the soon to be released changes in races. I want to be able to select which version of a race is available.
i would additionally like it to be grouped by book, so for instance I could allow phb, volo's, and eberron, but not xanathar's. And then exclude the kenku.
Even more, I would like to be able to allow optional rules, like spell points, for some players, but not all.

While not entirely ideal, the ability to block character races by source book (for instance, Eberron and Ravenloft) would also be good.
An example of what I'm really looking for would be this: in my home brewed campaign world, I have a homebrew subrace of elves in addition to PHB wood elves. I want to block all the other subraces of elf.
The ability to block subclasses of a class (specific cleric domains, warlock patrons) would also be desireable.

Can you not simply tell your players "The only elves you can play are wood elves and my homebrew elves?" Or even "If you want to play a race other than (short list) talk to me first." Not only is it pretty easy to list simple character creation restrictions in the campaign notes, but it also seems more straightforward to set broader expectations about how your campaign world differs from the common D&D world.
I totally get that it makes things easier if players aren't presented with a bunch of options that aren't appropriate for your world, but this kind of restriction seems like a one-time choice that happens prior to play, rather than a recurring annoyance. =]
I would like to see a "Campaign Settings" page where as DM I can turn on or off various Variant Rules. For example Spell Points (instead of using Spell Slots).
I would like to see a quick reference guide to all variant rules that exist.

Want to see Virtual Table Top like no other before it built within DnDBeyond.com? Upvote the feature request. It's 2nd highest voted so far:
NOTE: You will need to setup a zendesk account (which is not your DnDBeyond.com account, the team uses this 3rd party software). It's easy to do and your votes are needed!
What I'd like to see is a grouping system for homebrew collection. Basically you would be able to put certain homebrew in a folder and then you could assign certain folders to certain characters/campaign (you could integrate these folders into the content sharing tab of a campaign). Furthermore, it would be easier to search through in the collection tab.
As it stands right now, there is just one checkbox that encompasses all homebrew in the player's collection and the DM's collection. If anything I'd like these two to split into two. When you are a DM in one campaign and a Player in the other, you get offered options from both sources and you have to remember what is valid and what not (If you have lots of homebrew spells this is annoying). All in all, one checkbox does not cut it.
Thanks :)

It would be nice if DDB automatically added the bonus when you have Elemental Adept and roll a 1.
Being able to homebrew ammunition would be very helpful, too.

One can hope that since they have the "Underdark" feature for player characters that this is on their radar. Ima roll my Luck dice just in case!
