Ghosts of Saltmarsh has much improved headings and subheadings when reading on PC or tablet (in landscape) with each heading and subheading broken out. This makes it very easy to skip between sections and subsections of each chapter. It's great!
Unfortunately not all of the other books get the same treatment. For example, in the Locations in Chult chapter of Tombs of Annihilation, the only headings are 'Locations A to D' and so on, rather than having clickable headings for each location under those sections.
I was wondering if there was any plan to go back and refine the headings and subheadings for other books? If not, please consider this a vote for that.
Lack of easy navigation - specifically the inability to 'flip between pages' is my main reason for resorting to the physical books versus D&D Beyond right now, and improved chapter breakdowns make this a lot better.
The main problem with the current design of the sidebar menu is that we need to be very mindful of the height of it, due to people with smaller screen resolutions. This limits the number of options that can be visible at one time.
That said, there are plans to improve the sidebar menu for compendiums, directly because of this. :)
