Some way to redeem The purchase of hard copies Of books so that we have digital access Via the site The notion of buying 2 copies 1 digital and 1 hard copy Is unappealing at best coupled With The Inability to download the copy so you can access it from any other Media . This would increase the usefulness and availability of the site
This is something they are trying to do for future products (like Essentials kit). Can't be done with previous products. This is something entirely dependent on Wizards of the Coast who actually publish the content. It's something D&D Beyond want to do but it's not up to them. The physical products, with only 2 recent exceptions have nothing to do with D&D Beyond so it's difficult for them to do anything about it. Every time you purchase/unlock something on the site D&D Beyond have to pay licensing to WotC so they have to charge you.
This has been discussed to death so please consider running a forum search to find the many, many other conversations about this for more info.
