So as far as i can understand, the only way to create a randomized character is by creating a new character slot. Is there an option, or future update that will able us to pick an already created character, scratch it, and use the randomized option for that same slot?
Imagine if i'm a free user, with no subscription, but already have 8 character slots from the 6 free available and i want to reroll one character, i could delete it, but then i would lose that slot
So it's an edge use-case for those that want to exploit the fact that DDB doesn't delete/disable character access when you cancel subscriptions? If that's the only use-case for this feature, then I can totally see why DDB wouldn't implement it.
Why would it be an exploit, i could erase all the info from a character and make a totally new one, using the same slot, and the randomized option is there, but does nothing to the slot. i got the subscription to some extra slots, and i can modify that slot all i want, but when it comes to randomize it, we an't do it, but we can indeed erase all info and make a totally diferent character

That is a really edge case for which I dont have a solution for (unless one of the archived characters don't automatically fill that slot, I have never had a sub).
Is that the case, or are we just playing "what if"?
To me, it reads like the randomize-beyond-the-free-6-character-slots would be better as a subscription feature, which is already handled by the delete/create-random feature while subscribed. DDB's process of randomizing character slots is delete/create-random. If you have all 6 free slots full and then some, you cannot create until you have 5 or less. So while you enjoy extra benefits outside of non-subscriber features, it makes sense to me that you will have to manually clear and rebuild existing characters until you are down to the standard 6 free slots, or else, you would be actually using the DDB feature of deleting/creating with more than 6 slots as a free user with a "randomize existing character" button.
If there was such a button and it were me (and it's not), I would limit the use of the button for free subscribers to having 6 or less characters before they could use it. That way, there would be no question about the whole equivalent delete-create issue with more than 6 characters.
This is from one who is not a subscriber, though.

You can already delete an existing character. I’m now sure how what you are asking for is different.

Yeah, I'm honestly not sure what the advantage of rerolling an existing character is over deleting and rolling afresh
