I created the campaign on dnd beyond and a player of mine could add their own homebrew content to their character. Only their character had access to said content. (All players could still see my homebrew content as normal)
Is that intended? If not could we get a toggle to allow/disallow homebrew content for the players? Could be secretly abused by naming a feat like a normal feat but giving hidden bonus stats.
To be clear I want to keep my homebrew content that I share with my players but they should not be allowed to insert their homebrew content into my campaign/their character without my approval.
This is how it is supposed to work (actually player homebrew will get shared if it is private or if content sharing is on). I do wish they would give DMs more control over that though and also make all homebrew automatically labeled with the little blue house symbol so no one thinks it is official.

Heya,
I created the campaign on dnd beyond and a player of mine could add their own homebrew content to their character. Only their character had access to said content. (All players could still see my homebrew content as normal)
Is that intended? If not could we get a toggle to allow/disallow homebrew content for the players? Could be secretly abused by naming a feat like a normal feat but giving hidden bonus stats.

This is exactly as intended. I would suggest simply speaking with your players and expressing your concern.
Lightning Strike - A rebranded Fire Bolt for Wizards & Sorcerers.
Spirit Bomb - A holy fireball for Clerics, Paladins, & Divine Soul Sorcerers!
Sword Dancer - A Cleric subclass specifically for the Drow goddess Eilistraee.
Quicksilver & The Scarlet Witch - A pair of magical firearms for your Gunslinger or Artificer.
This is how it is supposed to work (actually player homebrew will get shared if it is private or if content sharing is on). I do wish they would give DMs more control over that though and also make all homebrew automatically labeled with the little blue house symbol so no one thinks it is official.
