For what it's worth, my brother always gets me D&D content for my birthday and Christmas. The ability for him to just give me a gift card for DnDBeyond would be incredible, since I think I'm likely to use this for most things over a physical source book/adventure.

As most prepaid credit cards, like those loadable Visa and American Express cards, have a 16 digit card number in theory (haven’t tried it myself) one of those could be used for paying for unlocks.

Yeah would be a workaround. But the info on the card for newbies would work better. Especially for giving them a taste like a subscription or players guide without them figuring out what they need.

Oh totally agree. Is not a long-term solution at all. But its the best I can come up with.

I feel this topic is a very important one. Morely so with Christmas right around the corner.
If I request a pre-paid visa in my amazon wish list, I am less likely to get it than if I were to add a D&D Beyond Gift Card/Coupon Code to my amazon list.
I am also putting my vote in as YES to giftcards/codes. It would be great to let my family know they can feed my D&D addiction by contributing to my DDB collection.

Curse is a subsidiary of Amazon, right? Why not have Amazon gift cards be able to be used on here. No need to create a new system for it when it can just be a branch of an existing one.
Oh God yes! I was just looking in the marketplace to see if there was a way to do this - I always ask for D&D for Christmas. If my family could simply get me Amazon gift cards (or other Curse-specific cards) that would be awesome!
As a User I'd like to also chime in and say that I think this would be an excellent feature to look at implementing before Black Friday or the end of Q4FY17.
Obviously the userbase doesn't have all of your internal data, but I know if I could, I would be asking for a gift card to something DDB.
Well, there is a place currently at checkout to add a coupon code. I guess the question is... how can we get coupon codes?

I won't give the code here due to it would defeat the reason behind the code, but listeners of the Critical Role podcast will get a coupon code it they listen to/watch the first episode of the new campaign.

Been playing around and see there is a code for coupons. Any plans on maybe gift cards or the like? Seems like it would good geek gift.
We tossed around a few ideas with staff before, but I'm not sure what direction they're going to go with it.

I concur, what better gift option to receive from a family or friend that's is not sure what to give you?

I was rather hoping that this would be existent in time for me to get XGtE on here for my birthday.

Ditto on the giftcards or code. Being able to buy things on here as gifts for folks in some way would be fantastic.
