I'm not, and I suggest to look up what "objective" means if you believe that. The objective section remained objective while I intentionally labeled the anecdotal part.
In regards to character creation, the classes specifically can easily be optional. I'm not referring to the rule changes as a whole. The point is that features would swap, much like how some features on the Ranger swaps out with optional features. And yeah, an optional feature that drops the level 1/2 versions and moves it to level 3.
The suggestion you made was simply incorrect. There's nothing easier about forcing optional features into the old classes to make them behave like the new ones; additionally, you would need the subclass drop-down to read that change and behave accordingly, only giving the set of subclasses available to the correct ruleset. Making them as new classes WAS the lighter workload.
I have made it a point not to take anecdotal evidence from people with over 1000 posts on places like this. Their views tend to be skewed towards the place they post in, and DND Beyond's community has a bias for 2024. Good on you for seeing more 2024 games, but your anecdote holds no water for me.
I'm primarily part of the rules discussion community here; most of my play is over Discord. Specifically, both Westmarch servers and home games. And in both, I've seen wide adoption of the 2024 rules. There was a bit of friction (and still is in some small, niche ways, such as Banneret being changed for 2024 with the recent release) but it's overall been seen as a good set of changes by a large subset of the community as a whole.
At this rate, the continued force into 2024 is just going to widen a rift that could easily be mended, but I have no doubt they will continue to push 2024 content while losing more and more people to Daggerheart and Pathfinder.
Ah, yes, the same tired excuse people have given about every edition change since forever. "It's gonna split the community!" People will play what they want to play no matter what. That may be a bit of a split, but not enough to break either side of it (and there WILL be plenty of overlap, too). So it's a complete non-issue.
That isn't known to be something on the table, is it? We have Strixhaven anyway, absolutely no need for a different magical school setting.
Nothing like that has been announced, but there was an announcement recently that Hasbro is partnering with the company that owns the Harry Potter IP on a variety of new stuff, without specifically listing exactly what all the new products would be.
Given the general lack of recent communication from WOTC about upcoming D&D releases, it’s not unreasonable to think there might be something Harry Potter-related in the works, which would be really unfortunate.
We need to improve the battle mode mechanics. When a player selects a spell with an area of effect, the interface should display the targetable area so it can be selected directly. Once the spell is cast, the system should automatically roll saving throws and/or damage as required.
Similarly, when making an attack, the result (hit or miss) should be clearly displayed on screen. Ideally, the DM would only need to confirm whether any additional modifiers apply. The application should simply require information about who is attacking and who the target(s) are.
Additionally, we should prevent multiple users from editing or modifying the same character sheet at the same time, as this could lead to bugs or confusion.

Ah, so you don't know what Objective/Subjective mean. Being "false" doesn't have anything to do with it. For example, the sky is red. It's not a matter or opinion or speculation. It is observable whether or not it is true.
Thank you for labeling the bubbles I said you would have?
Except this time it's so bad that they had to rebrand the update several times. Are we still on OneDND, or is this 5e 2024? Did they finally convince everyone it was 5.5e, or did the technically correct "5.2e" proposed by members of the community smash it? It can't even decide what it is, and people are leaving for Daggerheart at an unexpectedly high rate. Continuing to forcefully drive a wedge into the community during a time of exodus is probably the opposite of a good idea.

You do know that OneDnD was it's development name right? Just like DNDnext was the development name for 5e. Neither of those names were ever intended to be the final name of their respective rulesets.
2. Rangers are great, but never have the abilities I wish, why can't they be good at climbing and have an animal companion? Why do you have to have one or the other?
3. map builder
4. not having to buy the hardcover book, and the digital copy separately, why can't I buy the hardcover, then be given a code or something to get it online?
5. I love druids but their overpowered! I would like them to be balanced please
6. an integrated VTT like roll20

To bring up a couple of things:
3. There's a few good free sites that do this well, I recommend looking into that. For basic ones, I recommend Dungeon Scrawl. Otherwise, shop around.
4. There's been points brought up before about how this would hurt small shops. Basically, you can either include the code in the book (which hurts resale value) or have it printed separately (which requires extra infrastructure for shops).
2 and 5. The time for input on classes was during playtesting. You're quite far past the mark there.
6. They have Maps, if you like it. (I prefer Roll20 and Owlbear Rodeo.)
2024 Ranger gains a climb and swim speed equal to walking speed at level 6 so if you go Beastmaster you can have both! ;)
Can't think of anything I truly want from DDB though. Faster updates/action would be nice but I'd prefer accuracy/long term solutions that work. I'm a patient person.
More stable and complete homebrew support. Some examples:
Creating new monsters regularly crashes out, and is really tedious to do.
Specifc stat choices aren't supported in backgrounds.
There isn't an "Import Monster" option that 3rd party creators can use to provide standard JSON format for a monster, so you can run it at your game when a module creates a new villain or monster type.

Don't forget the inability to customize or add Fighting Styles, Eldritch Invocations, Prerequisites, Artificer Infusions, Metamagic, Maneuvers, etc.
I'd like to see the ability to customize/rename everything on the character sheet. You can already rename spells and weapons/equipment, I'd like to even be able to rename classes/subclasses and species on the character sheet.
You mean on maps? I really hate any VTTs that make me click to "target" something or spend to much time interacting with the UI in any way. I want to tell my group what fantastic things my character is doing and just roll dice. Too much automation just gets in the way of the special things I sometimes want to do.
I would like to be able to make full blown homebrew class on hear
That would be nice, but a lot of what keeps DMs coming to the store is to buy the new classes. Not only is it a large technical hurdle, but it would be just so they could make less money.

No official Harry Potter in DND.

Right. It's still technically just D&D 5e. The 5.2e, 5.5e, 5e2024, all those names? That's the community, not official branding.
