1) a better interactive character sheet I can use real time during game 2) Online playing tools like roll20 or fantasy grounds where I can run/play a virtual tabletop session with non-local friends 3) Building on the above, I'd also like a way to allow a non-present player to drop in virtually on a regular tabletop game session.
I just need the encounter builder/tracker. Please god, just give me an encounter builder/tracker.
I really like the Kobold Fight Club and Improved Initiative, but I really want something that is linked with D&D Beyond so that it has all the official monsters as well as my homebrews. Plus, being able to select characters from the campaign would be really nice.
1. Support for homebrew classes. (I was just about to fully commit to Beyond by buying that bundle, until I read that they have no plans whatsoever to support HB classes. Thats how much I want it)
2. Rearrangeable UI elements for character screen. Also, the ability to pick a theme for my character theme. I like how it looks now. Don't like how they are planning to make it look more like the actual character sheet.
3. Monster/combat tracker.
4. Interactive maps where I can click on a section and it takes me directly to that section in the book. This might already be support. If so, disregard, and my bad.

1. They said it's not a priority, due to all of the things they'd need to factor in. But I think Badeye said it was a possibility later on during the last stream.
2. I vaguely remember something about this, can't be sure.
3. Coming.
4.That would be great. Don't know the status of this.
@xuebao61 - custom classes are not going to happen. BadEye said that custom subclasses could be a possibility and something they'd like to do. Very different.
For me... as a reference site, there have been some nice improvements like the feat listing and races list including content that I've purchased. I'd love to see more of that so that I can get a nice aggregate view of the material I own.
The other big thing I want is a character sheet that allows me to essentially "ignore the rules". I play a lot of homebrew games, as such, I need a super flexible character sheet. For example, some of the things I want to be able to do on the character sheet are:
Change the number of spells known
Treat divine spells like wizard spells allowing them to be "learned" and written in spell books
Have multiple spellbooks
Honestly, most things can be hacked with magic items, except for the spell stuff.

Now see, that's not how I've interpreted things at all. I think it's pretty clear that sub-classes are a definite, along with races and subraces. And I'm pretty sure he did say that while fully custom homebrew classes are not planned at this point, if there is enough call for them, they'd reconsider. We'll see. I don't expect anything in the foreseeable future, and would think that with subclasses, you should be able to find a way to do just about anything. I'm staying optimistic though, and am excited to hear the live stream later this afternoon for a better idea of what's coming down the pipeline.

I'm pretty sure custom classes are going to happen, but it's SO difficult to program in that kind of flexibility, that they just don't know how they're going to do it yet or how long it'll take.
I'm a total newb to DnD, so I don't have a grasp of how much would need to be supported, but I would personally settle for simple functionality like being able to create skills, enter my own description, limit how many times it can be used, recover usages after a long rest, and enter at what level the skill is unlocked. I mean, they already do this for spells...
3. Integrated dice roller (so I can simply hit my sword attack or spell attack and it auto rolls both hit/damage).
4. Interaction with my players (so I can roll that sword/spell attack against my player and it will interact with his character in real time)
5. Ability for DM to toggle on/off what features will be available in each campaign. For example turn off specific feats/spells, races for better DM control over his/her campaign.
6. Ability for DM to change the XP requirements for leveling. I like to double the XP per level but add GP = EXP to encourage adventuring.
Combat Creator and Initiative Tracker (Drag/Drop monsters, automatic CR difficulty calculations based on the tables from the DMG and XGTE like trivial -> deadly).
My players have also been interested in uploading JPGs into their "Notes" section. I do some handouts during play, and they'd like to scan those sheets into their notes.
Finally, I'd like to have another database entirely of NPCs. Similar interface as the Monster Listing. I think the Homebrew community could really build this up pretty quickly, and if we have tags for different races, classes, locations, occupations, then it would be extremely easy for DMs to pull down an NPC and add to the Campaign (with unlimited NPC slots).
Id be able to input my world into it and it would be much easier for me since everything would be at the same place.
I guess for now facebook will be enough.
But really just a much better campaign manager that allows us to create adventure like notes would be fine by me.

a perfectly integrated dice roller on private and campaign level so you can play dnd through theatre of the mind (or just use dndbeyond for everything except the map itself...)
the ability to allow DMs in a campaign to add a character himself - cause not every campaign is a campaign but a way to create and archive characters for players only.
to allow players to chose which content to share. I like to share my rulebooks with my group - but why the hell should i share all the adventures we actually might wanna play without them having a clean look through all the books? oO
integration of the twitch api for campaigns which has to include the dice roller and allows live management of all the stats from players and game masters alike.. on one screen (maybe tabbed) and not 10 reloading pages to access it all.
a better search function
better navigation per rulesbook and adventure. Its a pain :D
the ability to add a history page to the character. As adventures progress and story unfolds you might actually wanna record it all. Give me the space to do it. Its not like it takes any real ressources.
A combat tracker that integrates with encounters i have setup already in your also fully functional encounter creator so that i can simply start an encounter in the combat tracker and voila - everything there and ready to go. As such, it would be great if the monsters also allowed tracking of vital stats as HP and ressources used and conditions.
That covers kinda everything that came up my mind right now. :D
The ability to search official content and my homebrew at the same time. Then an encounter builder (preferably one that doesn't have to be tied to a campaign), then tooltips for feats, backgrounds, and homebrew.

1. Ability to make homebrew non-magical equipment. Currently the only way to do this is to create a homebrew magic item that is not magical and have to have the cost in the name.
2. Custom races and sub-races.
3. Custom classes.-

If you could get anything added, what would it be? Should be a good brainstorming thread.

A character sheet that has ALL options sorted out. I know there's a lot of issues with bladelocks and druids.
