I cannot see a 6th edition until at least 5 more years of 5th. WotC did a great job working with the fans on this edition, and the slow release schedule to me is awesome. For the popularity of the game is in I think no small part on the Famous people playing it and talking about it. So many folks hear that and start thinking it may be fun, when folks that are considered cool by a large population numbers like Vin Diesel, The Rock, and all the others it gets more folks thinking lets give it a try.
Exactly. When Next was in the works, Next was needed. 4th did something very divisive to the community and we needed a new edition to save D&D. We don't have that problem right now.

Does the Legendary Bundle, future discount also apply to 6th Edition when it comes out a couple years down the road?

The original title was presenting as fact that 6th edition is likely in 2 years, which seems to be very unlikely from the discussion in this thread and therefore misleading.
The moderator policy is to allow the community to discuss what they want, even if the subject were anti-D&D Beyond.
Generally speaking we'll only remove or lock threads if they break the rules, such as if they just become a flame thread or discussion on breaking the law.
I understand that this is pure speculation, but if people have concerns they would like to discuss, we fully understand that.
I doubt that there can be an official statement from staff, as this is talking about (many years into) the future and that hasn't been set.
So, let's talk intent.
The Curse team plan on this being a long-term thing. They plan for D&D Beyond to be successful because it's the best. They plan for D&D Beyond to be the go to digital resource for D&D 5th edition. They plan that, when there finally is a 6th edition, they'll be right there with Wizards of the Coast, discussing how best to present that digitally from day 1.

Considering it is a question that literally can't be answered aside from by staff, I'm surprised you're bothering to let the "discussion" continue.

considering it's been derailed from "Is this included in the price tag" to "Why do you think we need a 6th edition" is surprising it wasn't locked.

For those following this thread, Mike Mearls did an AMA yesterday on Reddit.
Here's his answer when asked about 6th edition.
