Okay so, if I were to buy the DMG (or any other content), does dndbeyond have a printable version, or am I stuck using it only on here? This is a deciding factor for me in regards to dnd beyond vs. books.
As far as I know there is no "print" option per-se, aside from the "print page" one on your browser, but I'd argue that, considering the price of toner/cartridges and paper for private use, you'd be better off buying the physical books if you want a printed version.
That being said, could I ask you why is this a deciding factor, considering a free offline app is coming soon, which would allow you to consult purchased material even without a connection (and still have the omni search)?

If you are looking to print an entire book, no this isn't possible (or cost effective, as LeK points out). However, I've been able to copy and paste and screen shot to print out needed monster stats, magic item info, etc. and printing maps is even easier.
If you REALLY need to put it on paper, I've found that most stuff prints out pretty well from here and definitely uses less ink vs snapping a photo of a book page and printing it.
I would much rather have a physical copy as reference than have to use my device. While I do agree it does make it easier (dndbeyond) to quickly reference with the search feature, I'm a sucker for physical copies of things.
Then there are times you just want to print out full sections, write a few notes over the papers and hand them off for players to use (or just read them without screen light). Sadly printing out pages, like from a book doesn't typically work out so well from a webpage (let alone trying it from an app).
Other times there is where you want to sully up a handout, maybe leave your dirty coffee cup on it for those few ring stains, and what not. Players really seem to love that stuff I've found.

Honestly, if you buy here and physical books through Amazon, then you are still spending about the same costs as MSRP for the hardcover only. I am a sucker for physical too so i have purchased both sides.

I just want to tell everyone "happy gaming" and actually mean it. Whatever your game is, just have fun with it, it is after all, just a game.
Open the sourcebook you wish to print. If you're using Google Chrome, click the triple dots at the top right of the browser. Select "Print...". In the print dialog box select "Save as PDF" and save the file wherever you wish. Then just open the PDF and print it. That's the cleanest way to print sourcebooks into physical copies. Keep in VERY CLOSE mind that you are not buying rights to these sourcebooks to distribute/re-distribute. Printing them would be purely for your own use.
If you're using any other browser, opening the sourcebook and then using keyboard shortcuts are the best bet. Ctrl+P for Windows...unfortunately I've never been a Mac OS user so I don't know what their keyboard shortcut(s) would be.

Thread-necromancy is defined as reviving an old thread for no reason other than bumping it to the first page or offering your opinion on a discussion that concluded over 6 months previously, without offering new information. If you have nothing to add to the discussion, move on. Thread authors may reply to their thread if they have made a significant update to the original post.
We do not auto lock threads so that new information can be added to an older topic without needing to start a new thread.

Ink / paper isn't an issue, I'm able to use the printer at my workplace.

Hardcopy book and photocopier is probably what you want then.

CMD(⌘) + P is print in macOS!
It'd be rather expensive and an unreasonable usage of workplace materials...
