Does anyone know the syntax for a +1 weapon or armor?
I tried [magicitem]+1 sword;longsword[/ magicitem] (without the space) and it would not work. I'm trying to reference a magic item in a creature's statblock
D&D Beyond offers the ability to link certain aspects on the forum in mouse-over triggered tooltips, such as magic items, monsters or combat actions - examples being Adult Black Dragon and dash. To create tooltips in this way as these, use the appropriate [tag][/tag] around the desired subject.
Example: [ magicitem]sunblade[/ magicitem] (Without spaces within the [ ] brackets.)
Note: These can also be added to homebrew content. In homebrew content, these tooltips function when viewing them in the homebrew lists (public homebrew/your collection), but do not function in the character viewer. If you create an item with a tooltip to Magic Missile, the tooltip will not be active in the character viewer.
i found those too if it's of any help
{{ classlevel}} <- shows your actual class level {{ classlevel*5#unsigned}} <- shows your actual class level * 5 {{ savedc:int}} <- shows your actual intelligence save DC {{ spellattack:int}} <- shows your intelligence spell attack bonus
Is there a way to link to the Wild Magic Surge table? I want to include it for my monster but dndbeyond just tells me that I can't use external links and my monster is unpublishable. Is it strange that anything that's already published on the website wouldn't be treated as an external link?
What tooltip were you trying to use? Perhaps we could help?

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
if you're trying to reference a type of tooltip, you'll need to 'break' it so the forum won't process it. For example, [-item]dagger[-/item] without the dashes should show dagger.

I'm trying to insert a link to Sacred Oaths for a paladin within the description of a homebrew spell, however doing so makes the spell ineligible for public sharing due to the "external link". This link isn't external, it's a link to a page within the PHB. Is there a way to make the system realize this isn't an "external" link? I would think the dnd beyond would trust its own links...
Does anybody know how to change the monster links from legacy monsters to current? been trying to it with Star Spawn Larva Mage but I keep getting the legacy version instead of the current one.
I'm trying to insert bless in a stat block as well as some other spells, ive got [-spell]bless[-/spell], (without the dashes) is there something I'm missing, do I need to add the link to the spell page or...?

No, it looks as if there is some issue with tooltips on monsters lately is all.

Is there a list of formatting guidelines (text size, bold, underline,) etc. to have your homebrew match published materials?

Nope. The only links DDB recognizes as internal are tooltips.
