Keep forgetting how to do this... I own the Master Subscription. Another player is going to DM the next campaign. In order for him to have the DM "seat" for the shared campaign, do I create the campaign, enable content sharing, and somehow switch DMing powers to him, or does he create the campaign and enable content sharing? Will that allow all the players to use the unlocked content of my Master Subscription (which is... everything) or just what *he* has unlocked ?
D&D Beyond team: I still think there should be an easy way to change DM (appoint one) in a shared campaign. In this campaign, for example, we'll share DM duties.
He needs to create the campaign for DND beyond to recognise him as the DM, then you enable the content sharing. That'll use up one of your slots for campaign sharing. It doesn't matter who has the master tier, but they're the only one that can enable content sharing. Also, it shares all content anyone in the campaign has

I will just let you know that if he doesn’t have the monster manual monsters and you do he won’t be able to see them because viewing them is “outside” the campaign.

This is incorrect.
If you are both in a campaign and sharing is enabled, while character options only appear on the character in the campaign, all compendium stuff like adventures, monsters, races and so on can be viewed outside of the campaign.

I mean for the encounter builder, from experience you can only see the monsters in the encounter builder that you own. So yes you can read through the books online but actually as a dm pulling the monsters together for an encounter can’t be done.
