Because not everything is free to use in the toolset. Only the content from the Basic Rules is. The rest has to be bought; see the Marketplace for that.

Huh, that's strange, in my copy of the basic rules, it also has the School of Transmutation.

It's a physical copy, and while I have a physical PHB, this isn't it. It's neither.

The offical basic rules are only written on digital document (and a shortened packet sometimes given to AL dm's) If you have a psychical copy, it is offbrand, and given it includes paid content, illegal.

Not true. They're also part the Starter Set and Essentials Kit which WotC sells...

The rules sections of the Starter set and the Essentials kit are not precisely the same as the official basic rules. There is a lot of overlap, but they aren’t identical. The Essentials kit in particular inclues subclasses (and perhaps races) that are not part of the basic rules, but must be purchased. In that regard, it is important to note that—unlike every other official published source I can think of—purchase of the Essentials kit here (or redemption of the certificate in the box) ONLY gets you the adventure itself. The “published” subclasses included in the physical rules booklet are not included in the purchase of the Adventure from the Essentials kit. This has confused many people.
I think this has to do with the agreement between WOTC & DDB concerning the Essentials kit, and is probably part of why the physical essentials kit includes a certificate for 50% off the PHB. (All the “additional” subclasses in the Essentials kit are from the PHB).

Those are not the Basic Rules. DDB is required to faithfully reproduce sources as part of the terms of their licence, and if you look up the Basic Rules here on the site you'll see that that is not the same as the booklet in those sets. The Basic Rules are a specific ruleset and don't have the School of Transmutation (or any other one besides Evocation).

It shows only Evocation as school of magic and Firearm Specialist and Grappler as available feat. Why is that?

Then you must actually have the phb, or have it shared with you.
My homebrew content: Monsters, subclasses, Magic items, Feats, spells, races, backgrounds

I bought the digital copy of PHB, and everything works fine now. Thanks for the answers, everyone.
