Hey all, I was wondering about the content sharing. If I join a campaign where someone has it, do I get to keep the content unlocked? Currently have 2 books and kinda broke so exploring options. Thanks for the insight.
if someone has content sharing in a campaign that you have a character in you have access to read all of the books that are owned by everyone in that campaign. That being said you can only use the tools from those books in the character creator if you make a character in that campaign.
Content sharing is for use within the campaign. So it'll only work for characters that are created in that campaign. If you remove a character from the campaign, it'll keep whatever it has, but you might not be able to level it up correctly, change out spells, etc. You'll be able to read any of the shared books, which means you can be creative with the homebrew tools, though.
