This may have already been asked somewhere and I did attempt to scroll through to see if I could find it but was unsuccessful. My question / issue is I am looking for an option to both have a hard copy and a digital copy without having to pay full price for both and I was wondering if that is out there somewhere that I just have not found?
I would wholeheartedly prefer to go through D&D beyond but as far as I can tell, unless I am completely incorrect, this is fully digital only but would love to be corrected if I am wrong.
Okay hold on wait.. after looking further into it I did find several similar type posts about this exact subject and although I only read a few I am not fairly certain that to have both I would need to purchase both independently.. If this is incorrect please feel free to let me know.

Your conclusion is correct - DDB only provides a digital version of the Dungeons & Dragons content, and there have been no announcements about discounted/free digital versions of books for physical-book owners.
Something worth mentioning: Due to Wizards of the Roast deciding to unofficially shift to a new edition of D&D 5e, some of the e-books have been replaced by Mordenkainen's Presents of Monsters of Multifurgle (or something like that). This means that the two replaced books Cannot be purchased through D&D Beyond and WotC has likely stopped printing them as well. MMotM has some substantial rules and statblock changes to several PC race/species. It also changes some rules and statblocks of several monsters, including Demon Lords and Archdevils. Those two books are:
* Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes - In comparison to MToF, the new book has simplified statblocks and fewer spells for NPCs and monsters, include the above-mentioned boss-type monsters. (IMO, this makes encounters more boring.) The new book also has little to no meaningful lore about any of the races/species that can be used by players.
* Volo's Guide to Monsters - The monstrous species got rebalanced in MMotM, though not always for the better. Some of the more OP ones, like Yuan-Ti and Kobold got seriously nerfed, some are now easier to use (the Genasi, mostly), and one or two got a lot more powerful (see Bugbear). Lore that was present in VGtM is also mostly absent in the new book.

Does anyone here know if there is a way to change the currency i pay in the marketplace so it instantly converts to Australian dollars?
I would really appreciate it if someone answered this for me
There isn't.
You can check sites like www.xe.com to see current conversion rates but it may be more accurate to check your bank / payment method as they may have their own conversion rates and fees.

How come Spelljammer at $50 costs $20 more than other releases? Isn't it more than a hundred pages shorter than some books that are only going for $30? What do we get for the larger price tag?

As I said in the first post of this thread, I don't want this thread to get into debating the pricing decisions of DDB. If you want to ask this question in a thread of it's own, I'm sure folks will be happy to weigh in, myself included. But I really don't want that discussion to derail the purpose of this thread

I second this. Plus it would be much more beneficial to others to just make a price debating thread. You wouldn't want to risk accidently going off topic and getting this thread locked or something, right? I would love to pitch into some price debating as I have some concerns myself to be honest...

Now that DND beyond has been absorbed by Wotc, will there be any way to get credit towards a digital version of a source book if I already own a physical copy?
My hope in future is that a code will be included in the physical source books.
If not it seems like using this platform isn't worth it. I'm expected to repurchase every source book for another $1000 and pay a $7.50 monthly subscription fee?

The dragonlance book is available as a bundle - buy physical direct from wotc and they will provide a code to unlock on D&D Beyond.
This is a trial run to see how well this will actually do and they may or may not continue the trend for future new releases.
It is extremely doubtful it will be done for future printings of previously released books.

Was looking around at options and I just realized that the essentials kit contains a DND beyond code to unlock it and 50% off code for the PHB, which is how things should be done.
Even a 50% off code for the digital version of the source book should be included with purchase.
I purchased the Legendary Bundle, yesterday August 26, 2022, which includes 6 volumes that I had previously purchased. I did not receive credit for those 6 volumes ( Players handbook, Tashas' Cauldron , Xanther's, Sword Coast, Rise of the Dragon Queen and Wildmount). How do I go about receiving the $179 worth of credit that was promised?

That is not a query for this thread, which is a community discussion on the what to purchase on D&D Beyond. In situations of purchases not completing correctly, your first port of call should be Customer Services.
I preordered the physical/digital bundle for Dragonlance. In the confirmation email I received, there is a link to get the code for the D&D Beyond version. Do I need to click through and get/enter that code now, or do I need to wait until November when the digital version is released? Thank you.

You can get the code and redeem it on your account now. Once you redeem it, you will have access to it on Beyond once the digital version is released.

As a new user to DnD beyond I thank you for this. So useful!
Where is VGtM? I do not see it in Marketplace>Sourcebooks
Edit: I just looked up a bit and see that VGtM and MToF are obsolete. Glad I have these in Hardcover. Enough with the nerfing!

I have asked that this thread not be used to debate the pricing structure. There are plenty of other threads that do so.
