With WotC running DnD Beyond, I imagine there will be more special releases, promos, sneak previews, and exclusives on the site, more directly from the source.

Pretty sure that's what Stormknight was implying when they alluded to the Spelljammer bonus content (which I believe ain't and won't available anywhere but here). I think relatedly we'll see UA come out set up for DDB as soon as the UA's published. That's my wishful thinking at least.

Jander Sunstar is the thinking person's Drizzt, fight me.
I know it's a meme, but I promise I'm being completely sincere and hopeful when I say maybe those sweet Hasbro dollars will finally get us a dark mode.
I spend a LOT of time on these forums, I would REALLY like to be able to do so without burning my eyes out of their sockets.

Agreed, though I've been using one user's browser additions to use an unofficial dark mode. I recommend that in the meantime we wait for the WotC to catch up.
As for the earlier worries of forum removal, I wouldn't be surprised if they were removed at short notice. I've seen too many video game websites remove their forums to migrate to Discord, which is great as an instant messenger, but not when you're trying to find old info or keep a thread going. For the time being, I'm glad to have what we have while we still have it.

Zero is the most important number in D&D: Session Zero sets the boundaries and the tone; Rule Zero dictates the Dungeon Master (DM) is the final arbiter; and Zero D&D is better than Bad D&D.
