Has anyone seen such a beast. A map that covers Faerun and marks areas that are clearly, eleven or certain orc tribes or creature types that lurk in marked areas. I was also hoping to find a map that lists all of the major dragons and where their lairs are. Any help is appreciated. I've seen what I'm talking about in small sections of a map, just wondering if those are taken from something or if they are more than likely home made. Thanks.
It comes up with lots of results so have a quick gander and I'm sure you will find something suitable.

Yeah I found little bits and pieces and small areas (maybe home-brew, maybe from some official stuff its hard to tell) but i'm looking for something that covers all of Faerun. If there isn't something then I'm willing to work with folks to put one together. If we start with a nice super high res map I can start dropping in stuff in photoshop. I was thinking transparent shades for areas of certain Orc tribes and Goblin tribes etc, Little dragon icons for popular named dragons and where they live. If a woods area is lousy with Ettercaps then that could be marked and so on and so on.
In the one downloadable from WotC, it doesn't show much other than towns, roads, major landmarks. WotC limited how much is produced as far as inhabitants are concerned to optimize the freedom to add, remove, or change inhabitants in your world.

You only lose if you die. Any time else, there's opportunity for a come back.

I haven't seen anything as detailed as you are looking for but this is a pretty detailed official map of Faerun.

The maps in adventures have smaller, more detailed maps that could be added as well as anything else you find.
Edit: fixed the link. If you've Google maps of Faerun, you probably already saw this in which case I was no help.
That link wouldn't open for me. Can you trying adding the link again?

I love this 3.5 Map of Faerun and I wish there was a 5e version of it. But its still nice and might be a inspiration on lore and etc
Wow that map is great. I love the way it allows you to plot miles between points too. Very cool!
