Well, the subscription cost is more of a coop-thing on our end, so while I won't be supporting with more sourcebooks, I can't outrightly cancel it with my decision alone. When the group agrees unanimously, the subs stops.
As of this time, there are 1202 votes. Of those votes, the metrics are:
A combined 72.6% have unsubscribed from the service. 20.7% are still on the fence or waiting for further clarification/information from official channels. 6.7% will not be unsubscribing from the service regardless of outcome.
Thank you everyone who has voted so far for adding to this valuable metric. I appreciate each and every one of you for taking the time to do so.
It is possible that they could put out a new unrevokable permanent OGL for oneDnD that would keep me on board. Anything less than an unrevokable OGL will have me cancel my sub. I mostly buy as support for the RPG hobby. I know I won't buy anything new until there is a new decent OGL.

The only change I am willing to accept from the 1.0a language is the addition of its irrevocability. Otherwise the OGL will be dismantled brick by brick, word by word, over a period of years without anyone having enough voice to stop it. Wizards made 1 billion dollars in 2021. They have at the very least a dozen lawyers. The smartest thing they could do is to not change anything of substance but make the OGL so complicated to read through that its like a terms and service agreement. In five years the OGL will be 50 pages long and so hard to read for the common person that we wont see these changes they want made. We can't allow any lengthening, additional wording, or clarifications to be added even if it doesn't change the substance.

(1) Our job is to be good stewards of the game: Wrong. We are the stewards of the game. You print books.
(2) the OGL exists for the benefit of the fans: Wrong. The OGL exists to benefit Wizards. 3rd party Creators have made your game what it is today.
I buy by the year as its just easier for me and my group. After renewing, I cancel to stop the auto-renew then log in to re-renew once a year. This time, I'll not be renewing.
Its not just the OGL alone for me, its a few things:
- the OneDnD marketing felt off to me (as in a bit too corporate - "no more editions, it will be forever as you want it to be, yours and yours alone .... we give you One DnD" - yeah, I've seen enough adverts by politicians and big companies to know empty when I see it)
- some of the OneDnD decisions felt off (releasing Dragonlance and selling the sh*t out of it, but saying there's a bunch of 5e stuff - in the world building release we've just tried to convince you to buy - that we are getting rid of in OneDnD). That is throwing good money away for an already dated product.
- The $1000 MTG boxes that I just heard about was also a truly WTF moment too. Seriously?
I am a late 40's University professor and not the kid who played D&D and AD&D in the 1980's, wax crayon filling in the dice numbers and all. I've seen nonsense like this for years when it becomes about getting more people to spend more money through handwaving and empty promises. Nope.
There are so many worthy game systems in the world these days and this just feels like a WoTC/Hasbro/some greed filled recent University graduate going for the money only. Nope x2.
I'm so disgusted with wotc, it is likely I will never buy anything from them ever again. The only thing that could redeem them in my eyes is the firing of whatever fiend concocted this abomination of a plan of action and the joining of ORC as proof that they have repented.
Their apology was nothing but corp-speak and gaslighting. I'm not sure what could bring me back. Probably nothing as long as the current management behind this mess is still in power. I don't trust them, and I can't think of anything they can do or say that can change that. If they get new people on top representing a new direction I'd be ready to listen.

Just unsubbed. Was pretty torn up about it, my annual subscription runs out in like 6 days, and my virtual group hasn’t been able to play for a couple months, but will begin again this week. Awful timing. Just felt like I couldn’t in good conscience let the auto-renew go through with all this going on.
Why can’t we have nice things anymore? Hopefully change can actually happen.

I love the amount of forum lurkers now speaking out since this came out.
Gotta hand it to them. They really are bringing together the community.

I guess we should also come here a day after unsubscribing to change our vote from the 2nd option to the 1st option?

- now this OGL stuff (including excepts from the recent inivestors call where it just sounds like corporate greed to me - good financial times article: https://www.ft.com/content/b8f27121-ac91-45c8-9f4d-7a1d86115c19).

Pathfinder is amazing and I love it. D&D gives your character a flavour of Vanilla. Pathfinder is Baskin Robbins!

Unsubbed a few minutes ago and spoke to my group, they'll be cancelling their hero tiers as well it sounds like.
Verified Tweet of what Hasbro was planning for DnDB.

There is no reason to think Hasbro was planning those things.
DnD Shorts, GinnyD and Nerd Immersion seem to think so.
