There is no reason to think Hasbro was planning those things.

Well, I haven't unsubbed, and i'm not going to either.
I have a subscription because of the content sharing feature.
I'm playing in 2 campaigns, and with content sharing enabled, we have all the books and stuff we need. Now if the changed the price for mastersub ALOT, or if they removed the content sharing feature, I would unsub in a heartbeat.
But right now, all this OGL stuff, it doesn't affect me in any way, as I'm not using any 3PP content. I feel for those who depends on the OGL for their content. Just not enough that I want to unsub. Call me selfish, I'm fine with that.

Thank you for explaining your vote and adding to the metric! I really appreciate it.
I didn't unsub but did go back to hero tier for the time being.
Betrayal, BETRAYAL, you need to unsub entirely *dinosaur screeches* (kidding)
but in all seriousness, I unsubbed earlier this week already. no point in keeping it around, though now I don't know how the blazes I'm going to go under 7 characters....
Trying to get your physical content on Beyond is like going to Microsoft and saying "I have a physical Playstation disk, give me a digital Xbox version!"
Use a different character builder. Aurora is free and has great community support even though the creator doesn't work on it anymore. It takes a little getting used to after always having used DDB, and adding homebrew is very different, but it's a great tool and I highly recommend it.

Leaving OGL 1.0(a) untouched and making SRD 5.1 CC-BY-4.0 is a great first step. The next is a promise to do the same for future editions. Here's a discussion thread on that.
As of this time, there are 1463 votes. Of those votes, the metrics are:
A combined 72.1% (1056) have unsubscribed from the service. 20.6% (301) are still on the fence or waiting for further clarification/information from official channels. 7.2% (106) will not be unsubscribing from the service regardless of outcome.
Thank you everyone who has voted so far for adding to this valuable metric. I appreciate each and every one of you for taking the time to do so.
I am quite vigilantly waiting to see what WOTC does about the OGL, and if it is not MUCH more amenable than what their "draft" proposed, then I will be unsubbing.
Furthermore, I am watching closely to what they do or do not do with the purported raise in subscription prices and access for DDB, if they truly change to charge $30 for the same Master tier they have now, I'll be usubbing. If they force everyone to have a paid account to use DDB, I'll be unsubbing.
I totally get your situation. Your situation is exactly what the corporation is trying to create - a vendor lock in to the ecosystem after investing enough time and energy. It's the same in the mobile phone and operating system spaces. There's nothing wrong with it, except given the companies states goals to monetize, they are probably going to start squeezing...
I unsubscribed a couple of days ago. Interestingly enough, I got through to the cancellation page without the need for submitting a support ticket or whatever.

Behind every successful Warlock, there's an angry mob.
I would encourage everyone to unsub. Any change to the OGL can only be bad for players, content creators and the community.
CEO Cynthia Williams has been 100% CLEAR.
The DND community is "Under Monetised" [sic].
Fight back, if you don't everyone suffers.
This is why I felt I had to.

I don’t have vote counts as I am on mobile. Thank you everyone who has voted so far for adding to this valuable metric. I appreciate each and every one of you for taking the time to do so.
That is a pretty staggering statistic if this 1600 pool of voters is representative of the general DnDbeyond population. Certainly a lot worse than I would have thought. I would imagine the real % of actual cancellations as a comparison to the real DnDBeyond subscription numbers is probably lower, but still. That is quite shocking.
WotC took DnDBeyond, a successful, thriving business and tanked it within ...what 3-4 months of its acquisition? Hard to imagine they could do this much damage in such a short amount of time.
You have to imagine too that people, even if they are not unsubbing are probably at least pausing purchases, so that part is probably also affected.
I know I'm not planning to purchase any of the new products and I've essentially preordered everything for years. I haven't yet cancelled my subscription but I'm close. They keep flat out lying to us and that is getting old. They have the easiest out in the world.
do 1.0a and make 1.0b for 5th edition. Change nothing except add irrevocable to the license in the same sentence as perpetual . problem solved. Then they can screw up OneDnD to their hearts content.
There is strong argument that the reason DnD holds such a massive portion of the RPG fan base it he OGL. Admittedly not the largest reason but its likely it would have faded during quiet years and others would have gotten some bandwidth.

Can all our purchases be reversed and deleted?
It's possible, yes. This is a digital platform and it could happen. Will it? Probably not. But can it happen? It could in theory, yes.
If you're asking about refunds, you should check the policy on it. But I have a feeling they are nonrefundable.

DDB is great, but it could be better. Here are some things I think could improve DDB

What three influencers think should not be confused with data.

If you have a yearly sub, you still have access to all your stuff until the renewal date.
