Feats are available after reaching level 4 unless your pc is variant human. In the class page of the builder look for the ASI block. Selecting that will let you choose either a feat or a stat boost.
Hi I couldnt figure out how to add feats during character creation
Out-of-progression feats (meaning outside of the usual ASI) are not currently available in DDB.
They will, though, be implemented together with additional skill proficiencies once the character sheet revamp will go live, according to the latest DDB dev livestream. There is no specific ETA for the revamp, but it should be in the next few weeks.

If I wanted to trick the system until the update. It looks like i could add it as a note to the character sheet but then can anyone think of a trick I could use to add the effects of feats to the character sheet so that the numbers calculate right.
Stormknight thanks for your help. I especially like how I can literally have a magic item that gives this feat that doesn't require attunement or weigh anything.
You can add the feat to the added conditions. You do have to add manually any bonuses you want and describe the feat in the description if you want them to be able to look at it but I'm pretty happy with the result. Especially considering they are planning to replace the need with the next update.
Last question. What do I have to do to make it usable by other players in my campaigns (I have the main books and master level access so I can share data from the books from players)?

For now, your main option is to create a homebrew magic item that adds the same benefits that the feat would.

OK I think I've figured it out in general terms.

All homebrew items are shared throughout the campaign automatically (no subscription required) as long as the character sheet has homebrew enabled.
