It's totally planescape, they're just being tricksy with the page title. Building hype for the return of planescape to announce something completely unrelated would be... mean :(
Slow your hype trains, it's just Beamdog doing Planescape: Torment remaster.
Aww... I was hoping for Planescape setting book.
I mean, you never know if WotC might use this as a springboard to do Planescape for their next rotating theme - all the elements are there. But I wouldn't hold my breath.
I had figured this out earlier, but when I went to post it on EN world, someone else already had! :p
Looking at the source code for the countdown site, there is an entry called "Secret" that equaled "0x50 0x53 0x54 0x45 0x45". These are ASCII codes that translate to "P S T E E", which would logically stand for "Planescape, Torment: Enhanced Edition".
Yeah, it's def the Beamdog EE, which frankly I'm pretty excited about because the clunky UI is pretty much the worst thing about my favourite CRPG of all time, and I think the UI improvements in the BG EEs are pretty much the best enhancements about 'em. I've played PS:T easily a dozen times since it came out, and I can't wait to dive in again with a better UI!!
I remember a month or so ago someone whose name rhymes with Gris Berkins said on twitter that they were going to announce something "a-maze-ing" but couldn't say what it was. It could very well be Torment remastered. It could also be a new adventure book. But seeing as Yawning Portal just dropped, I highly doubt it's a new book. I would welcome both to be honest. Torment was a great game, and Planescape was a great setting. Guess we'll find out for sure Monday.

My vote is for a Planescape Setting Book or Adventure Book (like Storm King's Thunder & Tales from the Yawning Portal). Maybe something that targets mid to high level adventure content.
I would be thrilled and excited about either. Planescape: Torment was one of the best games I've ever played, and a Planescape sourcebook would be very fun. Logic dictates it's the video game, so we'll just all have to be hopeful that its success leads to a new book, somehow. :_)
I'm excited about a Torment EE, but I'll be a little disappointed if Wizards doesn't publish a book for it. Planescape is my favorite setting, hands down.

Hmmm, page title say Plan Escape and not Planescape, soooo. Unsure.

A countdown timer was recently brought to our attention. Plan Escape? Anyone know what this is about? http://planescape.com/

I've only played it once, a long time ago. I've been thinking about giving it another go in recent times, so this will totally go on my "to get" list.
By far the best gaming news in the last 15+ years. Planescape is my all time favorite game.
