In about 18 months, I'll be forced to live in our apartment in Paris for a full year! Don't ask, it's a tax thing. There is no getting out of it. It has to happen no matter how many natural 20 ST's I roll.
My question to the forum is: Does anyone know anything about the RPG scene in France in general, Paris in particular, is there a DnD gaming thing happening?
I "speak" French -- I read it better. Honestly, I've never had a bad time speaking French in France. Most people seem to tolerate my abilities or lack thereof pretty well. I'm studying French again so that I can reach a level of fluency that could help join a gaming group..
i found two articles in a cursory Interwebs search:
Since posting this, I've found several bookstores in Paris that sell mainly French language TTRPG. Of course, there is a thriving TTRPG community there. Joining it probably won't be hard. I'm hoping for an expat group, but hoping my French will be tolerable enough if not.
Howdy y'all!

I lived in Paris for a few years. My favorite game store was Oeuf Cube.
I found several game groups and made a lot of friends through Oeuf Cube.
Check it out when you get there.
