Is there a way to add a Rangers Companion? I see that 6 years ago they were planning this, but I don't see a way. Am I missing something?
Which type of companion? The original beast companions or the newer “spirit of X” companions? If the original ones, you should be able to add them through the extras menu. If the newer ones, their stat blockS are “inline” meaning they show up in the feature description.
You have to be a Beastmaster to get a Ranger's Companion. What subclass are you? Also a Drakewarden can get a drake companion, which is slightly different.

A Drakewarden's drake companion is automatically added to the Actions menu, all you have to do is select its damage type.

"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.

But is a mechanism in the app to create the companion?
I’m not sure what you are asking.
are you using the website or the mobile app?
what do you mean by “create the companion”?
also, please answer my earlier question about which version of the rangers companion.
