It's very dissatisfying to get these books and find black and white maps on a grid. Why can't we get full color maps with these books? Especially in Vecna. I looked through it today and mostbof them are boring black and white maps and not well done full color. Very frustrating and very dissatifying.
I'm confused about this as well. Paying 30 for a digital book and then getting B&W maps and grids is very awkward. Not to mention that the L3 Vecna prequal had an amazing map in color. This set an obvious expectancy for the actuall book that wasn't met. The older books (Curse of Strahd, Rime of the Frost Maiden) and all 3 starter sets have colored maps. Now we get B&W maps in the book that has a campaign setting that should be a crown on 50 years of D&D. It's very frustrating and very dissatifying indeed. If this is how books keep on being released then I'm not buying any new stuff anymore.
