I hadn't noticed that Keen Senses were removed from the 2024 monsters. But... some monsters still have Blindsight, right?
I guess your comment is about some monsters losing their Blindsight?
EDIT: Oh, there is a poll here created by @IamSposta.

I may have missed something but I went through all the beasts with Blindsight and the only one I can find that whose 2024 counterpart lacks it is the Giant Spider. If anything, beasts' perception seems to have been slightly buffed, with several receiving Darkvision in lieu of a Keen Sense or even that didn't have any special senses at all, plus some boosts to the perception skill in general. Of course, we only have Basic Rules/PHB beasts so far, maybe there's more changes in the Monster Manual.
Yes - we only have the new beasts that are listed in the appendix of the 2024 PHB. I noticed the Giant Spider right away, because my moon druid likes to cast Fog Cloud and then wild shape into a Giant Spider so I can attack with advantage (I can see with Blindsight; they are blinded). Not sure if any others lost Blindsight or will in the new Monster Manual.
We also used Keen Smell and Keen Hearing in similar "blinded" conditions. My Brown Bear (with Keen Smell) would get +5 on a Perception check and my Direwolf (with Keen Smell and Keen Hearing) would get a +10 to determine if I could find an enemy in the fog. I could only attack (with disadvantage due to both being blinded) if I could first find them. Clearly a wolf can track someone down much easier than a human. The small Passive Perception bumps really don't capture that flavor of a beast with Keen Smell 500X more sensitive than a human still being able to find you while Blinded.
